Yes I'm still just going to try and let this portal thing play out. Sometimes just get over anxious for that big haul. If she is a Lady Vol of course we should welcome her here.

"Wanting to be a Lady Vol" doesn't mean jack around here anymore. A common sentiment we see on this board this year - especially this year - is that anyone not named Rickea Jackson (or maybe Jillian Hollsingshead) who's currently playing for Tennessee is garbage and deserves to be recruited over and shown the door.

Seriously. To these sorts, the worst thing in existence is a current Lady Vol, and the best thing in existence is whoever's going to come in and replace them. It's swell.

No one said anyone is garbage. I love our current players and hope they make the big leap in the offseason. But our needs to finally reach that next level are not a secret. Cora Hall put them on the front page of the sports section. I don't care if the speed and ability to score from the perimeter comes from a current player, a portal player, or Santa Claus, it's what we need. And I don't apologize for praying we finally get it.

Well that's not cool. But as far as recruiting over current players, Kellie Harper and staff are doing it, or trying to, right and left. This is the big leagues.

Re: perimeter shooting, I hope that we at least looked at Madi Hawk and Lyndie Ramsey. I know Hawk is now g oing to Wofford and that Ramsey played 1-A ball (Miss Basketball finalist), but at least we know they can shoot. Like Ace, it remains to be seen what their ceiling might be, especially with defense at college level.

I wonder if we still are trying for Donarski.

I remember I said if this is the opening day roster, we will be one and done in the tournament and even probably struggle making it.

Rickea and Hollingshead are really the only players I would trust to get a bucket when needed. We do need another Sg that can do the same and create their own shot.

And I am stoked about that. Mostly just tired of the people who keep cramming Strickland down our throats year after year. I think her parent or some of her friends keep bringing her up here. Sets her up for days like today. If it had been her I would have been seriously disappointed.

Keniya looks like a super athlete and I can’t wait to have her on campus!

He’s definitely never watched her. Anyone in E TN knows she may be the most athletic girl from this area ever. Also ran sub 1 min 400s for track and made the Pentathlon State Semis in 1 year of training. Long time E TN fan here IM ELATED!
