Thanks for answering that. I wanted to know if it could lead to any potential transfers. So with that maybe Cooper or Watkins. Cooper didn’t play much at all last season. She should have been a Lady Vol.
If HVL picks LSU and Morrow goes to USC, they would be pretty even and could lead to some fantastic games. Both going to LSU really shifts the balance of power, which I wouldn’t mind one bit.
TeHina Pao Pao visited too. So Dawn had no problem throwing her yungins under the bus. I expect transfersCooper is kind of in the same position that Eniya Russell was in a few years ago. They just kept getting better players at her position. But if she can learn to play PG, she'll get a lot of minutes.
Not sure I see anyone transferring, unless they get more transfers beyond just Morrow and maybe a big post for depth. G/W is where they have the most surplus players it seems.
Juju Watkins is a very good player but literally the USC are still questionable I’m just confused in why we are not doing better in NIL. Outside of Jackson the money the others made was really trivial with a program with a storied history why are not making sure we maintain a household name for generations to come why we are not maximizing off what Pat and the others built. The foundation was set I’m sorry but extending kellie in this type of new negotiations she just not cutting it.!
If a coach isn't looking to improve their roster, then they aren't doing their job. You don't think Kellie "threw" Brooklyn Miles and Sara Puckett "under the bus" by bringing in Powell/Wells and Rickea Jackson? Or about the throw Darby under the bus by shopping for another SG like Coulibaly? If the players on a roster were delivering, then the coach would have less incentive to bring in newcomers hoping for better performance.TeHina Pao Pao visited too. If Morrow just wanted the touches and stats, she would have stayed at DePaul. My guess is that she wants to play for a championship contender that will give her great national exposure. LSU would give her both and put her in the biggest spotlight. But she could also go to SC and be "the missing piece" to keep them in the upper echelon. If she goes to USC, not sure that's necessarily any better than staying at DePaul.IMO, if Morrow wants the touches and the stats, she goes to USC
If she wants to win, build her brand and get exposure, its between LSU/SC
I could see her at any of these 3 schools, just depends on what her intentions are. SC can sell a lot of recent basketball success with a great WNBA draft class this year. LSU can sell Kim winning a natty in year 2 with explosion of NIL for their players.
USC at least made the NCAAT this past year but you are spot onIf Morrow just wanted the touches and stats, she would have stayed at DePaul. Selling the program history and that they are the missing piece to get back to the top? Problem is that the "history" was pretty recent at the time Holly was HC. Now it seems it's just old news. They are too far removed from their glory days, and not getting enough big wins or big moments to be more appealing than some of the established old guard schools/coaches (UConn, Stanford, LSU) or shiny new things making noise (SC, Texas, UCLA, etc.).What in heck was Holly promising when she was recruiting they should definitely get her in just to recruit. I’m gonna be a fan no matter what but ughhhhh . I want us to be back dominating.
How much money have you contributed to NIL organizations ?Juju Watkins is a very good player but literally the USC are still questionable I’m just confused in why we are not doing better in NIL. That ain’t the reason lol. No one would come out and actually say that in public. You wanna win and attract talent? Hire a dang winning and talented coach who can close a deal and players are attracted to their style of coaching and team play. Simple. Full stop! Some actually said they don’t pick us because we make them go to class.
I think you’re right, we need a coach that can close these deals on elite prospects. That ain’t the reason lol. No one would come out and actually say that in public. You wanna win and attract talent?
