Transfer portal discussion

Was he also the one speeding around and drifting in a parking garage?
Someone confirmed that it was indeed this kid. This is one of the dangers of handing a bunch of 18yr old's large sums of money and expecting them to police themselves. Jimbo has a culture problem. He had the same issue at FSU before he bounced, and that was before NIL.

I'm not dwelling on it, but there was an altercation. That is a fact.
I just believe that there will be more of them..........at all schools.
There have always been altercations. The only difference is with social media if the wind changes somebody is out there sniffing a story. Most players want to win and are team players that play hard. Getting top dollar in college is not all players main goals. Sure they want to make sone if they can but they love the game. I have seen a ton of college games this year and players have given their all. The NIL will work itself out. It isn’t hurting the game like everyone is predicting. Sure things might pop up but just because there is team friction doesn’t mean it’s always about NIL. I actually think the year has been pleasantly quiet overall with the NIL. The media and social media usually overplay problems, they love to stir the pot. GBO

This might be a way off way of thinking but I'd be wary of any Texas A&M portal entry. Painting with a broad brush but it would appear they're all kids who simply went to the highest bidder, will be again looking for the highest bidder, and football/fit being second to them. Plus the disciplinary issues some of them had, I'd be wary of whether they would be culture fits. Texas A&M proved you can't win with a team full of mercenaries.

I'd target Wesley Walker/Dajon Terry types. Kids who excelled at lower level schools. Or if someone like a Turrentine who wanted to come home because he wasn't getting the opportunity at his initial school wanted in, I'd pursue (ahem - Dallen Haden). Spend the majority of NIL on our current roster.
