Maybe the difference between Brazell and wells isn’t big enough for the massive amount of money wells was demanding? Just a thoughtI feel like Juice Wells is someone we could have easily beat out Ole Miss for if we wanted, but we decided not
Personally, I don't understand why either. Well, I understand that the perception is Brazwell is a better fit for playing out wide, coaches know best, yada, yada.. But why not try to add electric talent when its right there? I'd rather have an overcrowded room than what we had last year. We will be another injury away from leaving our freshman QB with little proven SEC talent.
But man, if it does work out, especially if they hit on Nolen, i would almost say Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and Mississippi, at this point, would have to be considered the locks from the SEC to make the 12 team playoff. and with their schedule breaking like it did, Mississippi could be looking at 12-0They aren’t going to make the playoffs and paying a lot of players at once is a recipe for disaster especially if some of the higher paid ones don’t live up to their hype while some of the bargains exceed theirs
Their situation at QB is what concerns me. He is the Auburn version of Bo Nix. Maybe a slight tick better, but he is 2nd tier QB.Ole miss going all in on the portal this offseason. They putting a lot of eggs in the basket, for CFB playoff run next year. Definitely a disappointment if the don’t make playoffs.
Locks? Okay, we will see. Maybe. Or maybe it was worth it. We don't know the numbers. All we know is Ole Miss offered enough to convince him to committ. This after already taking in multiple other high profile transfers that were looking for money too.Maybe the difference between Brazell and wells isn’t big enough for the massive amount of money wells was defending? Let’s see how that works out for ole miss. Banking on one season while throwing away a programs future may not work out for them in the end. Cause little do they realize what they’re doing isn’t sustainable. Good for them on next year they will be pretty damn good, but after that I guarantee they will be mediocre or just straight suck for a long ass timeMaybe. Or maybe it was worth it. They wanted money, we wanted em to git.The DB's exodus is due to one of the 3 scenarios IMO.
1) We decided to prioritize other players at their positions moving forward.
2) There are players frustrated with their performance in this system under current coaching and they want to seek out other options.
3) combination of #'s 1&2.
I hope it's number 1.
Have we gotten any further info on Hadden? Is he going to get another year?

How do you just decide all this without having any information?Let’s see how that works out for ole miss. Might turn out great for Kiffy, but don't forget that aTm spent like drunken sailors and grabbed a legendary class. Didn't get such a great return on that investment. Time will tell which method of portal work is best. Heck, both might work well, but we will at least have a lot of our portal guys for a couple of seasons. Gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out.Maybe. Or maybe it was worth it. We don't know the numbers. All we know is Ole Miss offered enough to convince him to committ.
