Their season is over. Nobody left any team who would have been playing a vital role for that team. Or they would not have left. Come on man...

No it’s not. If you are a depth piece like Jaylon was it matters. It isn’t the end of the world but it isn’t nothing especially if you get a guy that is playing a vital role and decided to leave for a bigger bag right before a big game. I am all for them getting paid, but a stipulation needs to be in place that they can’t leave until their team season is over.

He went to Texas because he wanted to be the qb there. He is not a depth piece. He is the future quarterback. Not very many kids are going to be sitting around being your depth.

We’re not going to have any depth with these transfers if we make a deep run. More games = more injuries. Not good. Huepel needs to do a better job keeping us together. We have a championship to play for

Happens to every team. When it all comes out in the wash, I'll bet that JH has us in a net positive situation. CFB becoming more like CBB, and just hope JH can get talent to fill gaps which are upgrades, much like Barnes has done.

Every player that has left us for the portal either isn’t playing much or sees it’s going to be tough in the future. Smith is the only one that was making a impact and with the LB’s we have coming in he probably thinks and can get more money and time. The rest are simply looking for more playing time. We are actually retaining well. I had high hopes for Matthews but obviously he wasn’t making the impact we had hoped. GBO

Jalen Smith hurts us the most as far as depth. The rest really struggled to get any significant playing time. Still plenty deep most spots. I hate what the portal has become, but dang I’m already looking forward to see what we do this portal season.
