You're not alone in believing that. He certainly has improved it looks. A lot of people on here are expecting him to bounce back BIG TIME in 2023.We still have Milton. Who gives a f*** if we get a transfer, in the games Milton has played he has looked amazing and threw one of the prettiest damn td passes I've ever seen. Not only that but he has Cam Newton size and rushing ability, I may get flamed for saying that but it's true
Edit: my whole point was is that I believe UT will be in great hands next year with Milton taking snaps
Really? And HH5 is the 6th best QB to be drafted (according to some)
Huh.....
Yes we were. That is why he was permanently replaced early in the saeson. That doesn’t necessarily mean that we will be bad with him as a starting QB next year. However, he has not proved so far that he can transfer supposedly strong play in practice to an actual game as the starting QB. Some guys are gamers. So far, he has definitely not been a gamer. In any case, he’ll have to win the starting job next year.
Tray Lance pick really left me confused. If I remember correctly he only played one full season of college ball. It's mostly due to the overall talent level. A-Rich has the arm/speed/size combo that teams drool over in today's NFL. So they are willing to overlook his overall performance. It's why someone like Trey Lance went 3rd overall a couple years ago despite playing at an FCS program and throwing barely more than 300 total passes in college.
It could be to cover Milton just in case of injury or performance or TJ may hit the Portal but even if he doesn't you can't have enough QB'S. Milton has little experience and TJ has none and Nico needs to redshirt that would be best let him add weight. So I could see them looking in the portal for a good QB.Not sure I buy it. . . maybe a backup transfer, but I think Tayven Jackson is a good backup. May need a #3 backup, in case TJ and Milton were hurt and Nico is trying to redshirt.
