I Saw T2 on Imax this past Thursday. I thought it was pretty good overall and better than the first one. I agree, that it could be even better without Michael Bay. Christopher Nolan or JJ Abrams would have been much better directors for this movie, imo. It was hard to distinguish which robots were autobots or decepticons during fight scenes because the action was too fast and the robots were all over the place. I think a good director would have slowed the action down just enough so that the viewer could follow it better.

Someone needs to tell Michael Bay that less is more sometimes.

This confirms that I am an absolute Transformers nerd. I pointed out every robot and wheter or not they are autobots or decepticons to my wife.

*You know Bonecrusher and every other "dead" decepticon was back except for Barricade...... odd.....

Also, did any one notice that in the prime grave site that one of them was Megatron from the original series. That big old box head and every thing!

It was terrible. Transformers has never been about a deep and challenging plot. Not to say it should be (Star Trek reformed for the better), but Star Trek and Transformers shared the same writing crew... so what is the difference?

Transformers is about robots. That transform. And fight. That. is. all.

With that said, the "ghetto bots" were entirely pointless. That is the only part of the movie that got on my nerves.

I didn't suck. There was not a dull moment, it was kind of funny at times and oh yeah, Megan Fox wears tight jeans a lot.

My wife said I sat with my jaw dropped pointing at the movie screen when Prime died. I told her going in, if they kill him that I wouldn't be able to handle it for a second time in my life.

Actually, that would have been nice.

I think a movie just about NEST operations would have been awesome.

I mean we see the British SAS for about 20 seconds.

I think a thirty minute sub-plot portraying Michaela as a stripper would have made the whole thing pretty much perfect.
