Transgender Female Setting Records

ESPN the magazine stopped publication in 2019. So yes you are FOS. Are they writing articles for their website about this ass hat? Yes. Have they written numerous stories about male and female swimmers? Yes. Is this news? Yes. Have I seen them pump her up? No. Have I seen them post stories about those competitors who hate it and their reasoning? Yes. So in summation it isn't getting more tv time. It's not on the cover of their magazines because those don't exist. And they covered the story appropriately. You just didn't notice the other stuff about swimming in the past bc you didn't care. I don't blame you but it's the truth. And they even showed replays of the championships multiple times. I don't think you understand how much espn needs programming.

You’ll find more coverage of “her”within the past month from both espn and left wing media than any other female swimmer of all time. Katie Ledecky has about 3 espn articles, total. You don’t have to like it, but it’s true

And on conservative websites I bet there are 1000 times the number of stories about this ass then they had about Katie. It's called news of the day. And this is a bigger issue then womens swimming.

Weird stance. Do you hold others to this same standard?

Do you find it odd that ESPN just now started putting “female” swimmers on their magazine covers or showing womens swim meets?

Or is it only bad to bring up a sport you don’t actually care about if you’re on the right wing?

Agreed. Both sides have covered this more than any previous women’s swimming competition/competitor.

Why is it only bad when one side covers it? That’s been my point the entire time. The poster I was responding to seems to have a double standard given he doesn’t mind (I’m assuming) left wing attention for Lia Thomas

ESPN hasn't published their magazine in three years. Stop being full of sh*t.

Perhaps it was the front page of their cite or sports illustrated’s magazine I had in mind or maybe I’m 100% wrong about that. It doesn’t really matter. You’re getting lost in the weeds as a means of ignoring the overall point.

The point being that both sides have given this major attention, but you’re only upset that 1 side of the political isle is giving it additional attention.

Why?

I'm hardly upset. I'm just making fun of the side that's collectively freaking out about this.

What makes me upset is that there aren't trans women trying to participate in men's sports. Come on girls dudes you can sling your 240 pound weight with the best of the linebackers in the SEC!!

So once again, is it only bad when the right notices?

Your comment wasn’t about then freaking out but rather about the fact that they didn’t care about swimming until this. The obvious point here is neither did the left. Almost no one cared about women’s swimming.

Don't feel special. It applies to both sides of the argument.

There was an open swimming meet this past week in Houston. I watched several finals yesterday. A lot of top swimmers were there. When I watch the women swim I don't want to see one of the competitors with a couple of acorns as the garment cling to them.

It’s the difference in size that is most apparent. Lia towers over the other female swimmers.

Seems like an advantage to be a foot longer when you are trying to “out touch” the competition.

There are. Lia raced one.
Swimming? I want to see football, basketball, hockey, weight lifting, and soccer. Soccer and hockey would be hilarious. I actually good see a new mixed gender league forming and becoming the single greatest source of amusement on the planet.
