Transgender Female Setting Records

Hormones aren’t medicine and as you get older you stop producing test anyway. I don’t see the problem.

When you take synthetic testosterone your pituitary grand basically tells your nads to shut down and stop producing natural testosterone because it detects high levels already in your body. Normal men will gradually drop off test production, particularly after 45. Normally you are still producing it though, just at lower levels. Also keep in mind that your own natural test is a key ingredient in sperm production, so while you are taking synthetic test, you are likely sterile.

I have taken probably 7 or so cycles of test over the years to aid in gaining weight in the gym (I'm naturally very skinny). I took moderate to low doses and it worked fantastically. I always cycled off (with proper post cycle) though when I was supposed to with no side major side effects. Some people I know have never cycled off....but eventually they will....and that is when they run into problems, when they have to quit. Testosterone is a key ingredient to men's health, tread very carefully.

Just be sure you talk to your doctor and don't take any of that **** you can buy on TV or online or GNC. All that stuff is garbage.

And if your body stops producing it, it probably doesn't 'need' it unless there is some form of disease involved in that reduction.

Such as the disease known as aging

Old vs decrepit are not the same
True, but there is no magic fountain of youth either. You are gonna get to a point where you don't move as well as you do now. I actually set my all time best bench press not too long ago, and I will turn 62 this summer. Staying young requires a certain level of sacrifice.... stop smoking so much dope and spend more time at the gym for example. Eat right. (Chicken wings are **** food.) A good bowel movement is as good (if not better) an indicator of health as morning wood. You'll find out all this in due time. All I can say is please talk to your doctor before taking supplements... especially trash you see on TV.

Opinion: What I wish I’d known when I was 19 and had sex reassignment surgery

When I was 19, I had surgery for sex reassignment, or what is now called gender affirmation surgery," Cohn wrote. "In terms of my priorities and interests today, that younger incarnation of myself might as well have been a different person — yet that was the person who committed me to a lifetime set apart from my peers.

There is much debate today about transgender treatment, especially for young people. Others might feel differently about their choices, but I know now that I wasn’t old enough to make that decision," she added. "Given the strong cultural forces today casting a benign light on these matters, I thought it might be helpful for young people, and their parents, to hear what I wish I had known.

Surgery unshackled me from my body’s urges, but the destruction of my gonads introduced a different type of bondage. From the day of my surgery, I became a medical patient and will remain one for the rest of my life," Cohn wrote, explaining the choice between the health risks of taking exogenous estrogen or taking nothing.

What advice would I pass on to young people seeking transition? … The prospect of sex can be intimidating. But sex is essential in healthy relationships. Give it a chance before permanently altering your body

Most of all, slow down. You may yet decide to make the change. But if you explore the world by inhabiting your body as it is, perhaps you’ll find that you love it more than you thought possible

Many of you live in Tennessee. Tell me what you think of this law:

Why a 14-year-old boy is outlawed from playing on his golf team

I disagree with it and here's why: It limits who can compete in boys/men's sports. I think anyone should be allowed to try out for the guy's team. I do think only female born folks, who are not undergoing transition to male, should be allowed to compete for the girls team. I think any female should be free to play baseball, basketball or whatever.

In this case I think Luc wants to be a guy, fine. Play golf with the guys. I think Tennessee law should allow for this

How do you folks see it?

I think biological females should be allowed to tryout and play on male teams if a female team doesn’t exist maybe with the stipulation it doesn’t take a spot as way from a male. I don’t think a male should be allowed to participate on the girl’s volleyball team or any female teams.

I see this as stupid. Playing as a girl, better chance to make state, win a scholarship, since the article implies there have been some developmental issues I suspect this child is being played....and if the parents are that concerned, move to a state that permits.

OK, so what team can Luc play on?

I'm not so concerned about a female taking away a spot from a male. If she's better than let her play. To the male who didn't make the team: get better

I suspect Luc doesn't want to play as a girl. He wants to play as a male. I think "he" should be allowed to do so. What do you think?
