Also, what's the certification process to officially be trans? Do you just declare? What percentage of time would I be required to wear a skirt, if any? Because if I can declare, stay married to a woman, continue to wear the same clothes, and get cash and protection, I might be up for that gig.... I'm missing the down side, unless as a woman I have to sue to get the 20% less that I'd make.If a trans female swimmer (born male) makes the women’s team and earns a women’s scholarship - how does the Law view that with regards to Title IX?
Anyone know?

One of the hurdles in place (that I do not agree with) is a testosterone threshold. Be hard to fake that, I assume. Also, what's the certification process to officially be trans? Do you just declare? I don't agree with the concept that one can change one's sex by taking pills. How'd we ever get to that point?
Are they changing their sex, or their gender? I think there's a distinction in there about the physical attributes versus the psychological attributes. In other words, I believe the argument being made is that a person with dude parts(sex) (for example) can identify as a male, female or a nothing (gender.) Note: I'm not agreeing, this is just my understanding of their argument (and I could be wrong.)
None of that sh*t bothers me. If someone wants to identify as a Ford Ranger, that's none of my business but when they use it for an advantage in competition - everyone ought to be screaming from the cheap seats.
I just don’t think testosterone levels should be the deciding factor - for anyone. When saying this you seem to be using the modern idea of gender as a societal construct and sex as your physical characteristics.
In terms of sports it’s treated as if they’ve changed their sex also. The advocates will pretend as if announcing you’re a woman and taking hormone therapy changes your sex not your gender.

If Lia Thomas had been born biologically female, and she just naturally had crazy high levels of testosterone - would we bar her from competing against other biological females?
You bring up a good point and frankly I think it's the trans folks who don't understand the difference between sex and gender. Case in point the question on various forms/paperwork where they ask about your sex. If they really understood there'd be only 2 choices. Sports should also be based on sex and not gender. I don't care what gender you identify as but don't tell me that your sex changed. It didn't. You are still the sex you were born with. Are they changing their sex, or their gender? Swings the other way too. I don’t think the African runner should have to suppress her naturally occurring testosterone levels.I agree completely. It's just the only thing they have to fall on. They have to pretend that lowering your testosterone makes you = to a woman, because otherwise they have no argument at all to make. So they have to ignore every other physical advantage men have and just pretend that testosterone fixes all of it.

She is intersex, female from birth. She has internal testes that generate higher levels of testosterone than other female runners. If it's actually natural, I agree. Idk enough about the case to say if it is or isn't. But I think it would be easy to get caught on steroids and proclaim that's your natural levels. But I also don't know enough about the testing.
When you start taking testosterone, your body stops (or at least slows) producing it. It is a vicious cycle.I’m 100% going on test in the next few years as I push close to 35 and think every man should. Any negative of aging that we can reverse, we should
Just be sure you talk to your doctor and don't take any of that **** you can buy on TV or online or GNC. All that stuff is garbage.I’m not seeing the problem. If your body stops producing something it needs, why wouldn’t you want to replace it?
