I don’t know. I’ve seen Government action justified by vaguer principles. I can’t think of too many high profile treason cases, the only ones that I can think of is that couple that were hung for helping the Soviet’s in the fifties

Which we both know will never happen. Hillary deserved to be prosecuted, didn't happen. And there was a hell of a lot more evidence against her. Some serious, irrefutable evidence would have to be made public for there to even be a chance of Kerry being prosecuted. I doubt the Biden administration lets that happen.

I think there might be more evidence against Kerry. With Clinton we don’t quite have proof of what her intentions were ( I believe they were nefarious, but that’s a different thing to prove). Kerry’s intentions were obvious- to aid an enemy of the United States. I know nothing will happen because we have an astonishingly corrupt and complacent Government

Hillary's intentions didn't matter. There was evidence that she violated the law. She never faced prosecution because she's Hillary Clinton. If Jerry down the road had done the same, he'd have been prosecuted. There are certain people in this country who are above the law. She's one of them.

And as far as I'm aware, the only current evidence against Kerry is a claim by an Iranian foreign minister. Hearsay.

Makes you wonder what the NSA has on everyone. Kerry and Co. would have encrypted comms. Now if the Israelis have something...not sure they would brun that bridge unless thiings went super sour with US.

Makes you wonder why they ratted him out if true...Maybe they saw a US-Israeli rift greater than what they could get from US. Heck, maybe they already have the bomb.

Just because their influence allows them to avoid prosecution doesn't mean they haven't committed crimes. I'm gonna assume you're just trolling because you normally demonstrate yourself to be an intelligent poster. I think it a fair statement to say both parties are pretty equally corrupt.

I was genuinely asking. I see them as an unlikable, swampy family of elitist, career politicians, but I also think they’re the targets of many conspiracy theories. I think it’s perfectly reasonable to not want another Clinton president, but I don’t really see them as some crime family doing all kinds of illegal things behind the scenes, either.
