Treasonous John Kerry

Quick to judge questionable reporting without the first damn clue.

Woefully willing to believe the first thing that might support predispositions. Bowing to the narrative
The audio recorded claim made by Iranian Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, has not been independently corroborated. John Kerry has vehemently denied Zarif's claim. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has suggested being cautious with Zarif's account with the following statement:

"I don't know if we should trust that tape or not. If it's true, it's very damaging. I like John Kerry, but that would not be helpful and it would be very problematic if it were true. But let's wait and see how authentic this is." - Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

It is also important to determine when John Kerry would have made this reveal to Javad Zarif. These Israeli operations, which Kerry allegedly disclosed to Zarif, were publicly reported by Israel itself in 2018.

Finally, in 2017, it was also reported (by the New York Times - who is also responsible for this report about Kerry) that President Donald Trump had discussed sensitive Israeli intelligence information during an Oval Office meeting with top Russian officials (Lavrov and Kislyak). Republicans in Congress at the time, never expressed any concerns with whether or not those reports were accurate... and the matter was quickly forgotten.

Do you think this should be investigated? Should Biden have someone looking into this? And if he does, and it's found to be true, should Kerry face charges?

There is nothing wrong with an investigation... Kerry is a current member of Biden's cabinet. It should be looked into. Although when it comes to investigations, people usually end up believing whatever it is they want to believe... regardless of the findings.

Also, it's funny that the left wanted everything Trump and his staff did investigated, but act offended that the same standard might be used for Biden and his staff.
You only seem upset by double standards when you feel it's a Republican being treated unfairly. There are two double standards at play here. There is yours, and then there is this :

It's also funny that the same Republicans (such as Darrell Issa) who were not interested in knowing whether or not Donald Trump had revealed sensitive Israeli military intelligence information in the Oval Office to Lavrov and Kislyak, are now in a rush to judgement to accuse John Kerry of "treason" before Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif's claims have even been independently corroborated. And these Republicans don't even bother to explain how John Kerry's alleged disclosure would even rise to the level of treason, if proven to be true.

Nah. I harp on situations like this because the left got absolutely ridiculous in trying to oust Trump from office. They abused the Constitution. Nothing to do with any love for Trump or even the GOP, and everything to do with their attempts to undo an election.

As far as the double standard, both sides practice it. Are you outraged when the left does the same? It's why I hate political parties. They put themselves before country.

OK, but how would this be "treason" when the offense would be against Israel, not the US? LOL
From the Constitution:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Jean Kerry was going over to Iran interfering in foreign policy even after he was Secretary of State. He was known to be undermining the Trump adminstration. Though, there are still some questions about the authenticity why would Iran claim Jean Kerry proved info when they need to work with the Biden administration? I agree we should be cautious but many would not be surprised because this has been a Kerry M.O. for over a decade. M.O. being a very stupid liar.

The NYT is a liberal rag.

Honestly, this should have little effect on Biden, other than possibly having to find a new "Special Presidential Envoy for Climate." I wouldn't be shocked if Kerry just resigned.

Who’s to say we didn’t have have assets assisting the Israelis or have Special ops guys like Green Berets or SEALS mixed in with Israeli special ops groups? We didn’t even have to have guys necessarily firing weapons, but supplying visual intel or even lasing targets. If this is true this is unacceptable. Of course It’s not as bad as the now debunked Russian/Taliban bounty deal...👀

Just did a google search to see if Bibi has responded and yikes the animosity goes back several years based on all the old articles

This doesn't meet the definition of treason... which has become an over-used term in politics.
One of the way that the Constitution defines treason is by “adhering” to our enemies. Depending on your interpretation, what Kerry did could fit the definition.

Best way to handle this is to just put Kerry out to pasture with Hillary.
