That will go with the territory of having Texas in the SEC.

SEC fans will have to get used to it. Whenever a successful young coach emerges, there will be rumors that he/she is headed to Texas .... whether they have an opening or not. It never comes to pass, however. Texas has an inflated sense of who they are.

That last sentence is exactly why I can’t stand Texas, never have liked them at all.

I have no knowledge of anything and certainly have nothing to offer in this conversation except what I read once. I have heard Tony say that he has great respect for Augie Garrido who won 5 CWS championships at utjr.

Knowing how savvy Tony is I cannot imagine him saying anything to anyone about another school being his dream job once he got the head coaching position at UT. He probably has a soundproof bedroom thinking some media have microphones on his outside window sill. He has already become legendary at UT with unqualified successes but with major goals yet to achieve. As a fan, I am hoping what he has in mind is to duplicate or exceed Garrido’s record here at UT.

Am I the only one that thinks this statement from CTV may have been frustration with Zane Denton?

“ While I'm at it, anybody that's thinking about visiting our place that we're recruiting and you think this is a place you can come and have your hand out and see how much money we can give you, don't waste our time and don't waste your time either.”

Can't remember where I heard this from but when CTV made that statement he was talking about a recruit who was visiting last weekend. Do we know who this was?

There is no way Vitello was in discussion with another school while his team was the #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and hosting a Regional/Super-Regional. That's not how he does things.

I have a friend that is in the athletic director world and he said Texas is going at him hard and wouldn’t be completely surprised if it did happen. Said Vitello and Danny White aren’t the best of friends.

Texas is TV’s dream job. LSU is TV’s dream job. Arkansas is TV’s dream job. I have heard that basically every big program is TV’s dream job at this point so that just doesn’t carry any weight with me anymore, personally.

CTV is gonna reach General Neyland status her3 a5 Tennessee. Why would he leave when he's building the greatest dynasty of all time.
