Don’t disagree with you but he’s also done that at a time the East has been down.I haven't said, or seen anybody else say, that he'd be awesome at a "real program."
As others have pointed out, UK has never had a particularly difficult schedule and he's better than most (all?) of the coaches that have preceded him except for Bear Bryant. Since 2016, Stoops is 47-29 (25-25) at Kentucky, and has won 3 NYD bowl games. That is not easy to do. They are a .500 program all-time. Sure, that would get you run of town on a rail at Alabama, but it is foolish to compare those two programs.

You're not wrong, but remember UK is a program that for most of its history doesn't beat cupcakes and basically never punches above their own weight. They've gone from being a cupcake to having success against the cupcakes. The SEC East (and the SEC as a whole, really) wasn't great top to bottom in the 90s either and UK was absolutely horrendous, save a couple ~.500 seasons from Hal Mumme in the late 90s.Don’t disagree with you but he’s also done that at a time the East has been down.
