I am sure it is the issue with the trainer. The original source may have spoken about the rumor before the CJ ran that story, or possibly the source of the source didn't know it was in the CJ. My guess is that this is all there is. I would hope Petrino is on his best behavior.

If this thread started with the alleged rumor coming from Kirk Herbstreit at a Cheezits factory then we would be on to something.

two wku football players were asked to come speak with the bowling green pd about the murder of another wku student that took place monday night. When they didn't show for their interview on tuesday, detectives showed up at petrinos office at 6 am yesterday morning. Names of the playets have not been released. Jm

From Rocky Top Blitz.....on Facebook....

Two WKU players were asked to come to speak with the Bowling Green Police Department about the murder of another WKU student that took place Monday night. When they didn't show for their interview on Tuesday, detectives showed up at Petrino's office at 6am yesterday morning. Names of the players have not been released yet.

That is what all this is about. It will eventually hit the press. So I have not heard anything else about this. So no rumor mill from me. Y'all can talk me down all you want, but I was just trying to break some news that something was going down and it was connected to WKYU and petrino's name was involved.
