This show was one of the best shows on TV during it's first few seasons. It's crazy how far it's fallen. I mentioned a while back in this same thread that I'm pretty sure one or more of the main writers/producers quit or moved on to something else and that's pretty much when the show went down the hill.

The writing really did used to be superb on this show.

And just like that Alcide Herveaux is dead.

Tara was far, far more annoying and they kept her around way too long. Even the hardcore fans were like "kill that b*tch already", and this was like season 4.

Sookie is one of the most annoying characters in the history of television.

I've wanted them to kill Bill Compton since season 1. Sookie isn't nearly as bad as Tara, IMO.

I really like Bill and have from the beginning. I didn't like Eric for the longest time but then somewhere between seasons 3 and 4 I've grown to like him. I'm fairly certain they're going to end up putting Sookie back together again with Bill and they're going to rekindle their love by the end of the show. Unless of course they kill the whole cast off which is also possible I suppose.

The two worst Sookie moments:

1. Season 1 episode one when she tells bill in that god awful accent, something along the lines of "I don't care if you're a vampire, I'm a lady and you will treat me as such".

2. When this crazy b comes running to Sam who she hasn't even spoke to all season and wants them to run off together and get married.

Tara was one of the most annoying characters in television history. That accent was like nails on a chalkboard. Thank God this show is ending, because it's been going downhill for years.

Maybe when I was 25 or younger, my standards have increased as I've gotten older.

I think you underestimate my vanity, I wouldn't touch her because of that gap in her teeth and the fact she looks like a meth addict.
