True Blood

Thank you Lillith! Lol

“Alan Ball took the books by Charlaine Harris, assembled a brilliant cast led by the magnificent Anna Paquin in the role of Sookie Stackhouse, and crafted a show that has taken its many devoted fans on an unforgettable journey. Alan passed the baton to Brian Buckner, who led our fantastic writers and crew in crafting a spectacular sixth season, and he will lead us through the seventh and final season of this amazing show.

There in lies the true problem. Rest assured this seventh season will be as equally horrible as the sixth with this idiot at the helm.

Maybe, but its been bad for a couple years now. IMO But he certainly didn't help things. It's Dexter to me now, I'll watch the last season just because it's the last season. I expected very very little from it at this point.

Well, the fifth season is where it started getting weird with the Ifrit creature and all that crap but still nowhere near as bad as this last season. I have to say I think one of my favorites was the genius that was Russell Edgington.

The just started going in so many random directions.

Russell was awesome! One of my favorite Villains on any show, dude was brilliant!

He was the epitome of crazy but one the one thing he was all about was himself. I knew from the start that he didn't give a crap about all that Lillith nonsense when he got into that insane worship group.

I wish there was a way they could have kept him around longer. He was pure evil, completely insane, and extremely funny.

Are they really going to end the show by defeating zombie vampires?

I still can't get over typing that out.

Hopefully they end that story line really fast, shouldn't have been a story line to begin with.

You know next year is just going to be a rushed mess to give everyone an ending. Its going to be so horrible

I have a little bit of hope. They have an entire year just about to work on it.

Pretty sure there used to be a thread but I couldn't find it.

Anyways, the season premiere of the final season is tonight. Though the show has gone downhill, there are still a couple of interesting storylines to be solved.

2 things that I am not necessarily proud of:

I originally started this thread.

I am still watching this show.

I do applaud Sookie's decision to get naked early in the final season. Me gusta.

Yeah, it's like a train wreck. I just can't take my eyes off of it.

On the positive side:

either I've learned to block them out or those godawful accents have gotten better.

Nice to get a good view of Jason's vamp. The two naked scenes were the highlight. Not buying that Tara was killed off without us seeing it.
