This version will be better.

John Wayne was a movie star, but not a good actor. Jeff Bridges is a great actor. Matt Damon is better than Glen Campbell could have ever thought of being.

A new trailer is up on the above website and in theatres. Also SNUBBED by the Golden Globes. Oh well, A Oscar or two will have to do......:)

...Killed it to the degree of an Oscar nomination, they are saying. She has more to work with than the previous film. The Coen brothers are saying they did not remake the movie they made the book which is from her point of view.

Don't think that was the point of the remake. if i understood right they took it in a different direction.

Really good movie. Different than the original for all that have seen it.

Lots of good performances, Barry Pepper stole scenes I believe. One of the most underrated actors out there, who always comes through shining.

The young, at the time, unknown actress, Hailee Steinfield gave a brillant performance.
Matt Damon had a little of his McConaughey impression going on a little bit with his accent. He was understated and solid.

I cant imagine anyone besides Daniel Day-Lewis who is as on fire right now as Jeff Bridges. Have not seen them all, but he might just win another Best Actor Oscar...

This week I watched the Coen Brothers 2009 movie "A Serious Man" and hated it. Got nervous that the armor was cracked. But today all is well in Hollywood!

Finnaly a movie I will watch several time. It was great and wife liked it also. She is not a western movie fan but loved this one.
