Wow. Really was a great movie. Very soildly acted on all fronts. Would not be surprized if this film and actors took mulitiple awards.

I guess the questions are still, was this movie better than the orginial and was it better acted. The are a few different sceens and it ends differently. The scenery is as beautiful. I think and by way of an overall answer. The acting was better. You can just see the difference in the scope of it, and it's not even really close. Therefore by way of the acting the movie was better.

I will see this again.

Dude, to thy own self be true........

I was surprised - it definitely had it's moments but overall I wasn't wowed.

I thought casting Matt Damon was a mistake - Bridges was believable but Damon seemed like Damon. An unknown or lesser known would probably be better. The young girl was outstanding.

Helluva bump. Saw it for the first time last week FWIW.

I wouldn't put it with the Coens' best work, but that's more a credit to their films than anything else.

Thought it was excellent all-around, and probably one of the finest film adaptations of a book I've ever seen.

The girl was excellent, Bridges was good, Damon sucked.

I continually waited for more. It never happened.

A good movie but nothing to write home about.

I put this on a memory stick around new years, still haven't watched it. Not a fan of modern westerns, eventually I'll get around to it.

I haven't read the book and I didn't see the original, so would you care to expand on that?

Better then original IMO.
Jeff Bridges was good. So were the 2 bad guy characters.

Josh Brolin and Barry Pepper were hardly in the movie, not seeing the original I was expecting to see more of a chase...liked it but was disappointed.
