I agree that Trump/GOP owns the increase in deficit. No argument from me there.I simply pointed out that the trajectory of the economy and the DOW is no different than his predecessor. If you inferred anything else, that's on you.
How about a question for you. At what point does the deficit become trumps? Remember how the right used to care about that? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
If you want to whine about invoking that point as a whataboutisim or as it being "lazy", I'll ask you to point out where you've complained about that when Obama has been drug through the mud, in any post, in any thread.

Still waiting on an answer to my question.
You tell me, I don't believe economy's are statically tied to inauguration date. An economy that improves without paying down it's debt is hollow.
Obama inherited a shtshow, that's not debatable. Trump inherited an economy that's performed on the same level as Obama's last four, as I stated, congrats on not screwing that up.
You guys want to pretend that the booming economy began in November of 2016, and that's horsesht.
You think a tax increase and more entitlement spending would’ve helped?
This times a 1,000No, I think that fiscal responsibility is paying down your debt. You can tell that's what I meant, by reading what I said.
I'm for cutting all entitlement spending.

Touting an booming economy while signing off on the biggest spending bills in history is the biggest failure possible.
If you say so.
It’s scientifically proven that the people who complain about Presidential golf typically suck at it.Trump spent 1 of every 5 days in 2019 at a golf club - CNNPolitics
After promising to play next to no golf at all, he has cost US taxpayers $115 million to play golf. Please watch the video in this story, with Trump complaining repeatedly while campaigning about Obama playing golf, and saying he will have no time to play because he will never leave the WH and will just work all the time.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I think Trump has had more of an impact on the booming economy due to his deregulation and lowering taxes. You think that it was all completely gift-wrapped to him by Obama, and he's just riding on Obama's coattails (which I wholeheartedly disagree with). You tell me, I don't believe economy's are statically tied to inauguration date. Just follow threat levels and you typically see more support of a US President. Obviously I would not need to link to western Pacific countries, Israel, or eastern Euro countries like Romania and Hungary.

BTW, I hate that Trump kowtowed to the Dems regarding the massive $1.4 Trillion dollar spending bill put forth by the House. He definitely should've put up more resistance to that, and that is just one example.
