If that person represents what they want to see the US govt accomplish, even if they're not the most honest, why would they vote for someone that doesn't represent them or even wants the opposite? There's essentially only two choices. The guy that you think shares your views, and the guy you know doesn't.

It's the way it is in today's political world. People care only about their agenda.

The same is true for Trumpers. They don't see how you would vote for a guy with possible dementia. But what are you supposed to do even if you think it's true? Vote for Trump? The guy you dislike and don't want to win?

Having lived in Boston (epicenter of "Northeastern liberals") during the outbreak, I can tell you with 100% certainty that people took the virus very seriously, and the entire city basically shut down.

The timelines are important here. Mass got pounded right out of the gate, but once social distancing was put in place, has done great since then.

Conversely, the ignorant rednecks of Georgia ignored the lessons learned elsewhere, opened up their economy, and thousands of people died that shouldn't have. To this day, they still can't get it right. All thanks to the dumbass Republican Governor there.

If only the President would have listened to Fauci...oh wait he was saying it was similar to the seasonal flu in Feb...well how about the WHO..they were saying it wasn't transferrable in Jan..despite those two...President Trump still declared it an emergency and shut down travel from China and was called a racist for it..he also held meetings that the Dems ignored because they were working on impeachment..sorry your guys revisionist history doesn't pass the smell test

If only the northeast would have listened and not told people to ride the subway, go to shows and restaurants and mock the President for the travel ban we would not have cases in the south ..blood is on DeBlasio and Cuomo
