OTOH, Klobuchar has a chance to draw Independents if she doesn't get pulled too far to the left.

But, oh, the jollies that are being had tonight at their expense because they've not only been sacked in retribution, they've been drug through the mud, too. So good! God bless America, they got what they deserved! Yeehaw! MAGA!

It's going to be a nice, long Mardi Gras for a lot of people here as the parade of revenge continues, and we're all going to be worse off for it. And it saddens me that there aren't more people here willing to stand up, risk taking a fist to their online face, and call out behavior that is not only flat-out childish but pernicious and mentally and spiritually poisonous. And the record of it slowly steamrolling is right there in the backpages of the subforum. Mounds of data.

And yeah, I thought about the responses before I hit post. The accusations that I'm just trying to pretend to be high and mighty and better than everyone else. The assumptions (or "I don't have to assume, I know") that I'm just another week liddle' liberal snowflake cuck or another TDS victim who just thinks Orange Man Bad. The Whataboutism and redirection. The pointing out of my flaws and digging up old posts to make it even easier to Cancel me.

I don't care. I felt a burden to say something, I prayed about it, I typed it and sat on it. Whatever happens, happens.

Too many of you are better than this. I would hope all of you are. There's got to be a point where you realize that just because there's a little more silver in your bag at payday doesn't mean free reign to sacrifice anyone who disagrees with the Party. I wouldn't have said this if I hadn't been given a stirring of hope as well.

Did you see what I posted about him saying Sanders supporters were confusing Socialism with Social Media?

Until that (and using it as a proxy of his out of touchness that will show the more he gets public scrutiny) I thought he had the inside track.

Can’t be done.

His disciples, some of them at least, won’t vote for anybody but him. If he loses they’ll run disinformation campaigns on Twitter at the nominee. The online Bernie supporters are basically the volfanjustin crowd on here but they like Bernie instead of Trump.

Whether they outnumber the moderates who will vote for a less loony dem remains to be seen.

But his supporters are claiming his own appointees are part of the swamp. Bad judgement? He isn’t draining crap? My guess is both.

Would you really be that surprised if a number of Bernie bro’s confused the two? It was dumb to say. But in terms of gaffes he’s got a long way to go before entering Trump/Biden territory. Now he really stepped in it with Dems regarding Transexuals two years ago. That will bite him in the ass. I do think he has an outside shot of getting the nomination.

My guess is that there are hundreds of thousands of career diplomats. They don't go away each election. It's bound to happen. He will just keep firing their A$$e$

Yeah, and this is actually being talked about on the news, it has gotten so bad. His fans basically bully any person who are not for Bernie. Sanders has had to admonish them, but it doesn't matter. That is not going to help get him more votes, obviously, but those people are not going to vote Democrat.

No it's a big deal because it crystalizes him being out of touch and condescending. He's getting roasted for it from Dems. He's already got a problem with AA voters.

It's also one of his first exposures as a candidate that's not just ad messaging from him.

But he hired this one. The one who funneled tons of money to his election effort. He wasn’t a career diplomat.

Of course he’s getting roasted for it. Two of their main candidates have heavily socialist beliefs. So he’s pissed off a good 40% of them. The leadership, like Carvell, believe Trump is re-elected if you roll Bernie or Chief Knock-A-Homer our there.
