He doesn’t offer advice.... he just posts stats..... as for me personally..... I prefer to listen to facts/evidence and make the best decision for me and my family..... What piece of advice has Dr Fauci given that I couldn’t have figured out myself?

He said we should make sure healthcare workers have access to them first. Scientists also change their minds all the time, that's literally what the scientific method is. Not a great reason to start taking advice from a lawyer-turned-joke-of-a-sports-personality instead

As Colbert once mockingly said of Bush II, he believes the same thing on Wednesday that he believed on Monday ... despite what happened on Tuesday.

Fauci has repeatedly said that his view on masks evolved as data came in. That's what SHOULD be happening in science.

I think you should watch the clip, he said it may make you feel better but that's about all and can actually hurt because it causes people to touch their face more. I will take Travis' word all day over the guy who told us 2 million people would die

It didn’t evolve the data on masks has been out there for years.

Fraud Fauci has been and wants to be on every side of every issue so he can say "see I was right" no matter what happens

I think you should watch the clip. He literally says "That's the point, it could lead to a shortage of masks for the people who really need it." Also qualifies a lot of it with "right NOW", aka before we had much of an outbreak here

Sure that part of it, but didn't he also say "he said it may make you feel better but that's about all and can actually hurt because it causes people to touch their face more"?

Not exactly, he definitely didn't say "that's about all". He said they may make you feel better and may block some droplets, but aren't offering the perfect protection that people think they are. Then he talked about unintended consequences from people fiddling with them. If he was saying masks don't work, why would he be trying to make sure healthcare workers had them?

That is not what he said.

Here is what he said. If he would have just come out and said "don't go buying up all the masks because it will create a shortage for healthcare workers" I think everyone would have understood that. But he didn't.

Fauci: The masks are important for someone who’s infected to prevent them from infecting someone else… Right now in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks.
