It wasn't a debate. They brought the cameras in to do a standard photo op and then Trump kept talking and eventually there was some back and forth.

Politicians who do nothing but bark back and forth at one another. Neither one really wanting to come together to help fix things. Rather the more important thing is because one has a R or D by theur name, they have to make a freaking spectacle out of everything.

Our two party governmental system is trash.

Definitely not what was planned. And that’s why I liked it. You saw politicians actually discussing issues without a script. I like Pence but he exhibited the typical Republican response of flight over fight. Dems, despite their snowflake constituents, are ruthless fighters.

They invite cameras in for a few minutes, then have the meeting. Which is exactly what happened today. Except the camera part lasted 16 minutes.

This photo-op had that type of drama associated with a reality TV show. I'm taking the negotiations went well.

Sure. Except they didn't debate anything. They just stated their intentions for the meeting. Trump wants the wall and says he'll shut down the government for it, the Democrats want to keep the government running and talk border security. That was basically it.

Are you against securing our borders and for open borders?

I can't understand why anyone would be in favor of illegal immigration. It's totally illogical.
