Trump Will Destroy Children's Lives Just For a Political Jab

Your side is conflicted as usual. You can't recognize which way you want to go? Tell people do what you want with your bodies as long as you do what we tell you to do with your bodies.

Bringing up the old "strawman". First sign of not being able to reconcile your position.

You're projecting.

I'm not conflicted in the least, you are clearly unable to process a position that isn't partisan or black or white. Perhaps because it takes effort and you're too intellectually lazy to recognize that life is made up of shades of gray.

You conflated using crystal meth with eating bacon, that strawman is yours - you should swallow it and move on. Though if you want to keep shining a light on its absurdity, I'd be happy to continue and engage that.

Poison the well much?

Let me try.

I don't see how any rational, functioning adult could possibly make a convincing argument that nutrient dense fruits and vegetables are not a better option for the developing minds and bodies than school "pizza" slices of empty carbohydrates. Given what we've been taught about the food pyramid ( a total effing lie) and .gov subsidies on cheap beef, it's no wonder America is full of disgusting fat bodies rolling through the aisles at Walmart on a scooter.

Only a complete moron would believe that providing kids with healthy meals and starting them down the path to understanding nutrition at a young age would be a bad idea. This isn't partisan, at least it shouldn't be - it's common sense.
But who cares what people do. If my neighbor wants to feed his kids McDs every day he’s a moron but so what

I addressed that here:
It kind of is.

Diabetes, heart disease, cancer etc... The estimated health care costs of obesity related illnesses are a staggering $190 BILLION or bear 21% of the annual medical spending in the U.S. Childhood obesity alone is responsible for $14 billion in direct medical costs. $4.3 Billion in business losses due to obesity related absenteeism. If this were an illness, we'd be (as a society) bending over backwards to reign it in.

If we as a society don't care what other people do in this regard then as a society we should stop whining about the soaring costs of healthcare.

I don’t whine about healthcare for the most part. And some people will always make stupid decisions and lifestyle choices. The government forcing some decisions for them won’t change that. That’s why families are on welfare for 75 years at a time

Seriously! This piece of s*** human being literally has no limits.

The Trump administration announced Friday that it plans to roll back school lunch regulations that produced healthier meals for students to allow schools "more flexibility" in what they serve “because they know their children best.”
Trump admin. to roll back school lunch regulations on fruits and vegetables
I guarantee you none of the kids are eating it and they are throwing it away. If you have kids you will know this

Since you felt the need to inject partisanship, see below for your reading pleasure. Can you connect the dots on what most of these states have in common politically?

Map: Overall Obesity
Prevalence† of Self-Reported Obesity Among U.S. Adults by State and Territory, BRFSS, 2018

†Prevalence estimates reflect BRFSS methodological changes started in 2011. These estimates should not be compared to prevalence estimates before 2011.

It's not a coincidence that some of the poorest and most obese states in the country tend to lean Republican
so all Republicans are fat?

You're right - good thing no one actually said that.

The "best" way would be to get rid of the sugar and beef subsidies that make it cheaper to eat a value meal at mcdonalds than it is to eat a dinner of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. In essence, repealing some of the .gov's handouts to artificially tip the scales in favor of foods that make america fat. Unwittingly, you made my point for me.

Childhood obesity has less to do with eating at McDonald’s and more to do with video games and electric riding toys.

If you are fat and lazy it affects your ability to learn in school. So they do poorly in school and are relegated to crap low-wage jobs that keep the 1% rich. Kids misbehave and can't pay attention without proper nutrition, so they fail. Which leads to an uneducated populace. Which means more votes for Republicans. Good move for the GOP but overall bad for the country.

Personally, I think Trump is a sad little man who's jealous of Obama's presidency and his happy marriage. I would feel sad for him if he wasn’t who he is

I seriously doubt that Trump is the least bit jealous of Obama's Presidency. I am 100 percent sure that Trump isn't the least bit jealous that he isn't married to a shemale like BHO is.

Soaring cost of healthcare might be attributed to all the old Boomers who are living too long and using up all the government services known as Medicare and Social Security. If they didn't live so long and would die younger, they would be less of a drain on our government services. So all you stupid long living Boomers, start smoking again and eat crap food. End this madness!

Anyone who works in healthcare can tell you the reasons for soaring costs:
-CMS insane requirements of hospitals
-drug use among a 10-15% population
-large amount of homeless using healthcare as hotel/food
-large uninsured illegal populations
-physician/nursing shortage due to regulations
-large group of mentally ill people who have no resources to go anywhere else
-normal people using EDs for non-emergent reasons

I specifically noted "society", individual anecdotes are irrelevant.

You can’t force stupid people to make smart decisions. This is why welfare, jails, bankruptcy laws, section 8 housing exist. They make up part of society because normal people pay for their mistakes already more than we should.

Childhood obesity has less to do with eating at McDonald’s and more to do with video games and electric riding toys.

Diet, not lack of exercise is the largest contributing factor to weight gain (75% diet / 25% exercise). A sedentary lifestyle is a contributing factor - but anyone who has lost weight will tell you that you can't out train a bad diet.

Trump could really make coug’s head explode if he suggested that schools mandate morning physical training. Get rid of art or music and make PT a mandatory class.

Is PT not mandatory in Tennessee?

Wasn’t when my kids were in school.

Weird, we had it when I was a kid in Elementary. And both in middle and high school in Florida, my kids have to take a Florida state mandated class called HOPE (Health Opportunities through Physical Education) that covers:
  • Mental/Social Health
  • Physical Activity
  • Components of Physical Fitness
  • Nutrition and Wellness Planning
  • Diseases and Disorders
  • Health Advocacy
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drug Prevention
  • Human Sexuality including Abstinence and HIV
  • Internet Safety
