Trump Will Destroy Children's Lives Just For a Political Jab

Since you felt the need to inject partisanship, see below for your reading pleasure. Can you connect the dots on what most of these states have in common politically?

It's not a coincidence that some of the poorest and most obese states in the country tend to lean Republican

It’s also not a coincidence that all those shaded areas have the best food in the country .

It kind of is.

Diabetes, heart disease, cancer etc... The estimated health care costs of obesity related illnesses are a staggering $190 BILLION or bear 21% of the annual medical spending in the U.S. Childhood obesity alone is responsible for $14 billion in direct medical costs. $4.3 Billion in business losses due to obesity related absenteeism. If this were an illness, we'd be (as a society) bending over backwards to reign it in.

So the program was in effect 9 years. What did it change in those statistics? They should have gotten better.... Right?

I guess not.

You don't need a BSN to understand basic nutrition, though I have one of those too.

The joke about being a nurse was bc my sentence structure is typically a mess.... Someone here stated that they fired nurses for poor grammar....

As for Out working a diet.... have you seen what Michael Phelps eats a day.... He eats 12-15000 calories a day.... Ryan Lochte when competing i. The olympics ate McDonald’s for every single meal.

I addressed that here:

If we as a society don't care what other people do in this regard then as a society we should stop whining about the soaring costs of healthcare.

Life , liberty , and the pursuit of happiness. Soaring health costs comes with socialized safety nets . Either take it , or start a healthy brown bag program for your school district for all the kids . You sound like you were one of those little fat boys growing up that ate whatever he wanted , but now knows what’s best for everyone else . 🖕

Seriously! This piece of s*** human being literally has no limits.

The Trump administration announced Friday that it plans to roll back school lunch regulations that produced healthier meals for students to allow schools "more flexibility" in what they serve “because they know their children best.”
Trump admin. to roll back school lunch regulations on fruits and vegetables

This is rich coming from the one who ( If I remember correctly ) said we should invade an island , kill or put its inhabitants in a zoo, for killing that missionary who landed on their island wanting to spread the word .

I've not done either one of those things, in fact in this thread I've noted that the only legislation that I'd support would be to kill the .gov subsidies to big Ag.. You really need to start paying attention to the words people use and not arguing points against ones you'd wished they'd made. Doing so makes you look silly, doubling down makes you look dumb.
So you admit your criticism of Trump for removing these mandates is just your TDS flaring up?

You can’t force stupid people to make smart decisions. This is ...bankruptcy laws...exist. They make up part of society because normal people pay for their mistakes already more than we should.

By the virtue of your declaration, you just said Trump is stupid.

Folks I know who worked in public schools said when the moochel obama lunch program went into effect the amount of waste kids threw in the trash of uneaten food each day went way up.

People who think a centralized government agency "knows best" what a school district needs are the POS. These districts are made up of people in these districts who have first hand knowledge of what said district needs. This is not a bad thing.
