TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

1) To ensure a win for Hillary

2) To impeach Trump if hillary doesn't win

So the FBI and CIA rigged the election in Hillary's favor? Seems a little far-fetched given the fact, that, ya know, she lost. I would've assumed they would be more effective.

Sure - so what do you think about Twitter and Facebook's reports on the Russian accounts that helped spread pro-Trump propaganda at a 5-1 clip?

Left wing media propaganda...

Facebook/Twitter posts shouldn’t influence an election.
If so, those folks shouldn’t vote.

Btw, I thought Hillary won the popular vote? Sounds like to me those posts did nothing..

So your assertion is that they helped Trump because they assumed Hillary would win? So basically they just wanted a contentious election? And for her to go into office with a cloud over her? I could buy that.

Did Trump play into that with the "it's rigged, folks" stuff before the election when all the polls said he would lose?

I did not say any of that. They simply presented false information to both candidates and let them self destruct causing gridlock between the parties and further discord in the US. Maybe something else I am not seeing. Don't think they cared who won, preferred both to lose, which was the final outcome.

Bernie says hello

I was a Bernie supporter in the primary, but I believe a lot of the "FBI was behind Hillary" stuff is asinine. I believe the DNC handpicked Hillary and wouldn't allow anyone else to win - absolutely. But I don't think it went any farther than that.

Using the term FBI as a whole is likely not correct.

However...

Selected leadership positions absolutely could have (and possibly very well did) helped her.

Have you read the text messages between Strzok and Page?

A couple of reports I've read suggest the Russian operation was smart enough to target swing states in the Midwest. One of the things Mueller is investigating is whether or not a voting/marketing company owned by Kusher helped them know where to target or whether they gathered that information on their own.

is that why Hilary completely ignored one of those states and had a message that didn't resonate at all in that part of the country?

Did you know Andrew McCabe's wife accepted nearly $700k in campaign contributions from Terry McAuliffe?

Terry McAuliffe is a friend of the Clinton family.

Terry McAuliffe was also under investigation by the FBI.

McCabe didn't recuse himself from the Hillary email investigation or the Russian-election investigation.

Well, I think both things can be true. I think it's possible that Hillary was a bad candidate, that she ran a bad campaign, AND that Russia also actively worked to undermine her and to help Trump win.

If the Russians did anything it was to stir up hate and decent within our country, they won.

I understand these things and while I do agree they may look sketchy, don't necessarily prove a conflict of interest. McAuliffe donated to a democratic candidate because he's a rich Democrat.

I think they went farther than that, but I can accept your opinion.

To your point, do you think Trump attaching the FBI and our security services plays into their hands? Isn't that what the want? For the American people, and thusly countries around the world to doubt that the United States acts honorably around the world?

So long as that perception of a conflict of interest is there, there is a problem.

Trump is targeting corruption in the government at all levels.

He campaigned on draining the swamp. Why are so many surprised that he is following through?

Obama did enough of that with his rush to judgment, public exonerations of black (oops, African-American) criminals, refusal to vocally incriminate terrorism and anarchy (e.g. ISIS, BLM, etc.), and his overall divisive rhetoric regarding “whites vs. color/barbarism/non-Christians.”

He makes grand wizards look modest: the divider in chief.

Well, it may seem that way to someone who supports the President. To me, it seems like the "Swamp" is still there in the places he wants it to be, proven by all the Goldman Sachs people he has appointed to various positions. And that he only seems to remove people that are investigating him personally.

Oh I think we have/had some dirty players at the top of the FBI and our intelligence organizations that deserved to be attacked. Or deserves to be in prison.

This witch hunt of an investigation and temper tantrum by the Democrats makes us look far worse internationally than anything Trump has said or done. We look like one of those central American banana republics.

He's removed 1 person, the same person Hillary would have fired on day 1.

I am generally of the belief that Russia was just stirring the pot. It doesn't matter to them who won. Both have received payments from Russia. Trump as a business man, Hilary and Bill as elected officials.

To me it seems that Trump would have a better angle on being more difficult with the Russians. The business to politician meaning he could up his rates, while the Clintons have established their price.

neither is clean, and I think Russia got what they wanted. chaos. all the division does is weaken us, they win. if either side cared about the future of America you would hear them preaching unity, and Rick James' song came out a LONG time ago.
