TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Well, it may seem that way to someone who supports the President. To me, it seems like the "Swamp" is still there in the places he wants it to be, proven by all the Goldman Sachs people he has appointed to various positions. And that he only seems to remove people that are investigating him personally.

Who are all those people from Goldman Sachs has Trump pulled out from and put in various government positions that you can name? I'll wait. And your last sentence tells me you've been lied to as usual from the likes of CNN, MSNBC, & websites like moveon.org which have been proven to be nothing but putting out fake news (lies) on Trump.

Just from memory, Cohn and Mnuchin. Bannon was a former Goldman Sachs flunky as well.

Some of Trump's speech today to workers in Ohio. He is either insane, or a 13 year old girl trapped in a 71 year old body.

"You’re up there, you’ve got half the room going totally crazy wild, they loved everything, they want to do something great for our country," Trump said. "And you have the other side even on positive news, really positive news like that, they were like death and un-American. Un-American. Somebody said treasonous. I mean, yeah, I guess, why not. Can we call that treason? Why not. I mean they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much. But you look at that and it’s really very, very sad."

The President said there was "bad energy" in the room during his address.

More from Trump's speech. Full of lies - scaring his base with flat out lies. Typical

"But believe it or not Nancy Pelosi and those in Congress who want to raise your taxes, they want to raise your taxes," Trump said. "They don't want to give the money to the military you know, without the military we might not be here, or might not be here for long, believe me. Believe us all."

He continued: "Nancy Pelosi, what she's doing to this country. And she's gone so far left and (Chuck) Schumer has gone so far left. Oh, I look forward to running against them. We've got to do well in '18 and I know we're going to do well in '20, but I think we're going to do well in '18. I think we're going to do well in '18. I think we're going to do very well. They have gone left. They want to raise your taxes."

If you read the above quotes and find him to be lucid and well spoken, if you judge him to be even remotely trying to bring the two sides together, if you find that to be the kind of speech appropriate for a president of the US, then I've got to question his base.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are doing more damage to the Democratic Party than Trump ever thought of doing.

Well spoken? No. Lucid? Entirely.

The thing to understand about Trump is he's a stream of consciousness rambler. That's why his unscripted talks are so disjointed and at times nonsensical. He's not dumb or demented or insane. He just opens the faucet on his brain and let's it pour out. Most people actually think about what and how they want to say something before they say it. That's not Trump. When I realized that, it made understanding him much easier. Just follow your own stream of consciousness while you sit in a quiet room. It's pretty chaotic. Trump just chooses to talk that way.

If The Hill confirmed McCabe said: “first we ***** Flynn, then we ***** Trump.”, then that's pretty interesting...and also investigative reporter Sara Carter has suggested Flynn may have been tricked into having the interview with disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok without a lawyer...something may workout in Flynn's favor; not positive.

Good points. What I gathered from his latest streamings of consciousness is that he knows the 2018 elections are in jeopardy and that his best chance of holding on is to demonize the left as being lying un-american haters of the military that want to raise their taxes, that he is banking on his base being stupid enough to buy that load of crap and that he has complete disregard for the truth.

So, he just needs to tell the truth about the left?

Of course I would love that, but he would be run out on a rail by his base. His base will have to go through extensive deprogramming before being able to handle anything remotely similar to the truth.

Of course he is. Almost all criminal defendants file such motions, particularly if the plan is to plea bargain to lesser charges. You want the prosecutor to be worried that some part of the motion might be granted.

You know, I found out something interesting today. The ONLY member of the House to actually view the FISA warrant application, which is reportedly 50 pagers long, was Gowdy.

And yet, it was Gowdy who then over the weekend took all the wind out of Trump's claim that the dossier usage somehow proves the entire investigation is tainted. Gowdy says point blank that one has nothing to do with the other.

And now Gowdy is planning not to run again.

What did he see in that application that made him 1) completely contradict Trump's claims; and 2) make him want to resign before the s hits the fan for Trump?

So, the left actually loves the military, and was in favor of the tax cut?

As far as I know there are no pending charges against Flynn, he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Sounds like he is going after having that plea reversed.

Gowdy isn't resigning.
