It's not complicated. Trump asked Comey to stop investigating. He didn't. Trump fired him. Trump has repeatedly tried to undermine the FBI leadership because its not loyal to him, as opposed to the country. Trump ordered Mueller fired.

The grand jury is going to indict Trump.

This where things get squirrelly. While I believe Trump obstructed justice, I highly doubt Mueller would indict him. Rather, I think he'll lay out the case before Congress. It is Congress that is designed to handle high crimes committed by the president, and that vehicle is impeachment.

Ha! I think Mueller tipped his hand here with this leak... Maybe in response to the Nunes BS. I don't see how Trump walks away from Obstruction charges now... his only saving grace is the 66 votes required in the Senate. That's a giant hurdle... lots of GOPs would have to defect. Both the House and Senate have to vote to impeach.

I still think Trump will fire Mueller. His old allies are telling him his attorneys are lying to him about this investigation wrapping up quickly now. This is actually only one leg of a three legged case that is coming to head. Trump will eventually just pop and fire mueller.

Hackers from the Dutch intelligence service known as the AIVD gained access to the network of Russian hacking group “Cozy Bear” in the summer of 2014. While monitoring the group’s activities, the AIVD learned of attacks launched on the Democratic Party, according to six unidentified American and Dutch sources cited by the investigation.


The information provided by the Dutch gave grounds for the FBI to start an investigation into the influence of Russian interference on the election race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, according to the newspaper report based on a collaborative investigation with Eelco Bosch van Rosenthal, a journalist at Dutch news program Nieuwsuur. A spokeswoman for the AIVD declined to comment on the report when contacted by phone on Friday.
