TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

So, it doesn't matter that others are saying the memo should be released.

You won't accept it regardless. Just say you aren't falling for those meddling GOP tricksters.

Without knowing what's in it - I don't have a problem with it being released. Nunes has just been too obvious with his agenda. He hasn't even pretended to be an objective investigator which is a problem when you are the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Funny, Comey pretended to be an objective investigator.

How'd that turn out?

As far as I've seen everyone in here would like to see it and have stated as much on both sides. Let them sort it out on the hill.

They can't accept any collusion on the part of the FBI or DOJ because it would derail their entire agenda and they will be left with nothing. It will take a while to sink in.

If it is okay to declassify the contents of the memo, why can't they declassify the whole thing?

THAT is something that I would be interested in. I understand the Dems have put together their own memo.

So, what we have is a pissing match to see two groups come up with some explosive, half baked truths for the sole purpose of pushing their narratives.

Nunes is particularly suspect and lacks credibility. The process by which he even had the memo written was flawed.

Yep, the memo could give away the secrets of Roswell and the shooter on the grassy knoll and it'll be discarded by the left.

Agreed. Sounds like...

(a) there are findings,
(b) they are not good, and
(c) no one can say they are fabricated.

Let’s stop the BS and #ReleaseTheMemo.

We'll just have to wait on that (c) part. This is a creation of Nunes we're talking about. What I have seen from Dems who have read it, is that he has cherry picked information and taken things out of context. Based on his history, it will not be taken at face value by anyone who is not a Republican.

How so?

I do agree, I'd love for the info the memo was generated from to be released.

If the memo is as damning to the DNC as I think it might be, of course they will claim those things.

What? You mean they're not going to just up and say "got us"?

Nope, as soon as the memo is released and Fox News gets within sight of any Democrat Congresscritter:

This was the footnote at the bottom of the DOJ letter to Nunes.

The terms of access stipulated that review of the
documents would be limited to the Chairman or his designee, the Ranking Member or his designee, and two staff members each. (Mr. Gowdy reviewed the documents for the majority. Mr. Schiff reviewed the documents for the
minority.)

Great, bring out all the truth

...and the Dems should remind everyone of Nunes' antics last March. He has never separated himself as a surrogate of the White House. He said he was meeting sources at the White House who had already provided him with his information, switching cabs on the way, holding an impromptu press conference and basically making a big fool of himself. He has zero integrity and that needs to be emphasized above all else.

66 just posted that only Shiff for the Dems got to see the background info so how can these other Dems say Nunes took things out of context?

Yes, his antics were bad but the info turned out to be correct.

Most Dems refused to read it. Plausible deniability?
