TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

...and the Dems should remind everyone of Nunes' antics last March. He has never separated himself as a surrogate of the White House. He said he was meeting sources at the White House who had already provided him with his information, switching cabs on the way, holding an impromptu press conference and basically making a big fool of himself. He has zero integrity and that needs to be emphasized above all else.

Why hasn't Nunes been reprimanded then?

I mean, a little common sense here...If he's so unethical and a scum of a human being, how in the world has he been allowed to remain as the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence?

Well, the whole point was that this was all classified material. I am not sure the DOJ would have given them the documents/materials if they thought that the committee, rather Nunes, would set about trying to politicize the information.

In fact, I found it interesting that the letter (the "reckless" letter) had only Nunes' name on it. Typically it would address a committee, or both leaders of a committee.

It is my understanding that the senate has seen this material but they are handling it in a more professional way.

It's really neither here nor there to me a four page memo can't possibly answer all the questions anyway.

The House investigation has been compromised, somewhere the Russians are having a laugh.

Watching Schiff whine and defend not to #releasethememo...he's a slick talker, I'll give him that.

Schiff said the GOP-majority committee also voted against releasing a counter memo written by Democrats.

Lmao

So, the one thing that puzzles me about this whole thing...

If the FISA warrants are typically domestically based, how does this harm our national security?

It's not like some deep cover CIA Agent will have their life put on the line for releasing it?

What is the DNC afraid of?

The house investigation has been compromised but Muller’s hasn’t?

I would go with finding out that the investigation is totally tainted by the previous regime.

From the same letter...

Additionally, we believe that wider distribution of the classified information presumably contained within your memorandum would represent a significant deviation from the terms of access negotiated in good faith by the Department, HPSCI, and the Office of Speaker Paul Ryan.

So, maybe I am FOS, but being so is based on documentation of the agreement and no where did it say the House could release ANY information.

The way they have done this, the process, is a first for the Nation.

They voted to allow the entire house to view their memo. Same procedure as the Republican memo. But Schiff is a desperate hack

Time to lift the veil of secrecy. If there was nothing improper going on within the FBI and DOJ they should look forward to being vindicated.

The first problem with your question is that you assume his motive is to so the smart thing. That does not seem to be the issue here with Trump, who reacts. He doesn't think.

Second, Trump says he wants to testify. If he doesn't, only the 36% will buy into the notion it's because of bias. The rest of us know it's because Trump is worried that Mueller has him dead to rights.

So your entire party has been repeatedly beaten by a man with no plan? Who does not think and only reacts? That must be embarrassing.

Coincidence that McCabe is ousted on eve of the memo release? Nope. Time to start the scapegoating.
