In March 2017, former Obama Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense Evelyn Farkas admitted that there was surveillance of President’s Trump’s campaign and leaking of intelligence information. She encouraged people in the administration and on the Hill to “get as much intelligence as you can before President Obama leaves [office] … I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that there was more … That’s why you have the leaking.”

The rules of Andy Griffith... if you meet him:

(1) Don't ask for his autograph;
(2) Don't talk to him about any of his shows or Hollywood roles;
(3) Talk about dogs.

Per my friend who owns a local fishing tackle store, he once made 2 kids literally cry by yelling at them for asking for his autograph (for their mom, in reality). I can't say I blame him for wanting privacy, but that's the price you pay for being a star, right?

His wife was maybe 30 years younger than him. I once helped them tie up their boat in a canal near my house... Andy used a Rascal to move around. He had neon blue knee-high socks on with sandles... it was funny old guy stuff. Anyway, we three spoke for 15 minutes that occasion... mostly about dogs.

After he died, his wife tore down most of their historic home on their estate. I had a friend who used to work for them.

Most people around here really hated the guy... which everyone from everywhere else found incomprehensible. It was a lesson in judging books by their cover for me.

Well, I was urging my former colleagues, and, and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill, it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration. Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left. So it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out HOW we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods — meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence. So I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that there was more. We have very good intelligence on Russia. So then I had talked to some of my former colleagues and I knew that they were also trying to help get information to the Hill…That’s why you have the leaking.

I'm suggesting Evelyn Farkas went on TV and talked about intelligence gathering on the Trump team and sharing classified information with "people on the hill"

I don’t think you really grasp what’s going on.

The desperation is on the left; to remove Trump by any means necessary because he stole the presidency from its rightful heir, madame secretary.

The right is simply exposing that desperation

Maybe so, then they will dig a little deeper. If federal laws were broken we need to know. If its wrong then it gets corrected, but you have to publish it now. Not really a choice anymore.

on a completely unrelated note. I was called out for not repping the Vols with my gear last time. I'll be sporting a hat this year, it was a rookie mistake that won't happen again.
