It could be a complete lie, but we both sadly know it could be true. And if it were true, it wouldn't be a surprise. And we can say the same about Trump. Politicians care about optics, not people. They want you to think they give a damn, but they don't.

Its why I want all those politicians to stay away. I could maybe understand a governor, or US congressperson whose area is impacted making the visit. definitely state congress too. but otherwise, stay the eff out.

McRib's best friend from high school has a son. He works for a power company in Louisiana. They frequently come to storm damaged area to repair / rebuild the grid.
He makes GREAT money doing it.

Buddy of mine has a SIL that is a lineman, he's been over in NC/ETN since Hellene hit.
 

I think DeSantis is as big of a d-bag as they come, but isn't likely that is where they collect the debris in that area. One spot for clean up crews to use equipment to collect mass amounts? Like how you sweep your floors. He was going to put his podium at that pick up spot no matter what.
