Trump's new Cabinet - Guesses & Nominations

Elon & Vivek is going to be busy.

That's interesting.
Perhaps they sent that $ over to Russia with the COVID supplies trump sent to Putin?
And, how ironic that trump has selected two guys to run a department tasked with governmental efficiency. Wouldn't one appointment be more efficient??

The work is to be completed by July 2026. If the department continues beyond that point and starts expanding, then I'll agree with you.

And putting outsiders like Elon and Vivek in charge, people who understand efficiency and waste in business, means that this isn't going to be just another typical DC "bureaucracy".
How long before it gets sidetracked and bogged down by politics?

It's context. Musk is a great inventory. Vivek is a screeching buffon at every level.

Neither is remotely qualified to direct how a government operates.

The idea of who exactly is "qualified" for any position in DC has become so warped over the last several decades. Was Kamala qualified to be the Commander in Chief, or even to get coffee for the Commander in Chief? What determines qualification - "experience"?

We've seen the damage that decades of "experienced" politicians and bureaucrats have done to this country. It's way past time that the qualifications to be considered for political office need to be reexamined.

Conservatives believe the military exist to protect, defend, and break sh*t when necessary.

Libs believe the military should conform to their ideology, be a showcase for DEI, progress in the trans movement, and other loony leftist BS.

Unfortunately, that might have been true of conservatives 40-50 years ago, but not any more. Both parties in Congress have been dominated by war mongers who supported the 'forever wars' of the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama regime, and in the last decade the Democrats have only increased their appetite for continuous U.S. involvement around the world, while in the Republican party there has been a more libertarian viewpoint starting to emerge that is disparaged by the lackey national media as "isolationism".

The leftist 'social experimentation' with the military is a recent development as the far radical left has taken over the Democrat party.
