Trump's new Cabinet - Guesses & Nominations

Yeah you get a big *yawn* from me on your claims. You and your mentor Ras are the poster boys for wrong on anything pertaining to Russia and the Ukraine invasion.

Congrats, you were "right" and for that, Ukraine has been destroyed and hundreds of thousands of their young men are dead or maimed. US foreign policy in a nutshell. #Winning

It only takes one staffer to leak the report that Gaetz's resignation has blocked. You may not care what's in it, but a lot of people will.
In this day and age no way that report it kept from seeing the light of day, not an endorsement of leaking just the reality we live in now. And idiot Gaetz has plenty of critics on both sides of the aisle.

Wrong again. My only justification for Russia is the same justification the US uses when it invades a foreign country which is a very broad interpretation of the self defense doctrine. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

You're arguing with people who have lapped up the national media narrative, which only echoes the establishment narrative that Zelensky is a hero and Putin is Satan and will conquer Europe if the white knights from the west don't ride to the rescue. When the truth about the roots of the entire issue are never addressed, there's no point in debating.

Forget and forgive what, exactly? Vance, Musk, Gabbard, and RFK are people who saw the light and abandoned the dark side. I trust them far more than lifer DC 'go along to get along' Republicans, the type that Trump trusted and who stabbed him in the back the first time around.

Gaetz is a pick that is 100% to unrelentingly go after the same people who have destroyed the institutions of this country that used to be trusted - the DOJ, FBI, CIA, and that rat Fauci, who has probably already fleed the country. If he is a swamp creature but roots these people out to pay a price for what they have done to this country, then it will have been a brilliant choice.

I don't disagree on Rubio. He is the one I'm not happy about and just hope to be proven wrong.

Rubio is the only one remotely qualified.

If only your man crush Putin hadn’t invaded… right? 🤡

If only the US didnt use Ukraine as a proxy? We can do this all day.

At the end of the day it boils down to, Russia had every right to protect itself using the US's own broad self defense doctrine. Everyone with a functioning brain knew Russia would destroy Ukraine without Western boots on the ground.

So, the options were negotiate a peaceful resolution or watch Ukraine be destroyed. You chose to watch Ukraine burn. Congrats.

Which most Senators agreed with. Until Trump intervened....
From Forbes

"While Murphy told Politico lawmakers behind the bill initially believed they could get support from 20 to 25 Republicans, the legislation ultimately failed to advance in the Senate in a 49-50 vote."

Not nearly the sure thing you are making it seem

I strongly recommend you read the linked Politico article.

It 100 percent supports me. 100 percent defeats your claim.

Do they? I was told by the lefties that if Trump won there would never be another election 😂
Obviously your opinion, like mine, is pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but I find it interesting that, even after witnessing the last four years, the very online cable news addicts like yourself seemingly see this election as a permanent sea change in US politics and a mandate to own the libs.

You shouldn’t be shocked by anything if you’ve being paying attention to the Dem’s playbook. Lose by existing rules. No problem, just change the rules. Like adding SCOTUS seats and getting rid of the filibuster. Plus kneecap Biden after he was exposed. Then hide the unelected replacement much like was done with Pudding Head in 2020.

When the left doesn't get their way with existing rules, the rules must be faulty and in need of change. When they lose an election, it's the fault of 'ungrateful' or 'uninformed' voters, because how else to explain them voting against policies that have so clearly improved lives like we've had the last four years?

Why would people like this believe they needed the consent of the people to install a candidate no one had ever voted for? To them, all these things are necessary to "save democracy". They know best what's good for the hoi polloi, just ask them.

Speaker Johnson said early on that any bill that was not stand-alone for each (border, Ukraine) would be DOA in the House.

That was the weaksauce cover story they came up with. Read that Politico article. It was Trump and Miller who swooped in last minute and killed it, for purely political gain.

You guys talk about Trump fixing things. He doesn't care about fixing things. He cares about getting credit for fixing things.

Had the bill been passed, would the border issue have been improved?

Absolutely not. There are already laws in place concerning the border and legal immigration that were swept aside in the Democrat (and Republican to a certain degree) lust to change the demographics of this country with millions of unvetted people entering the country illegally. The same way there are thousands of gun laws already in place. More laws aren't needed, just enforce the ones on the books for a change. The only thing that bill would have accomplished is making it legal for 5K illegals to enter the country each month.
