The US is 55th in life expectancy......

If we were 55th in test scores (which we are not) people would scream about how horrible the educational system is.

Agreed, but people still come to University here from other countries because of the perception that US college have...as for high school etc...others only come there for the sports no one come for the education... foreigners come to the US consistently for the healthcare..speed of service alone if not more..

Then you can compare test score rankings to life expectancy rankings.

I always get a kick out of the people who rave about our health care while blasting the public school system.

.........and they overwhelming fall on one side of the political continuum.

It's funny...because your an educator so regardless of results your going defend your career....within the last 3 years I've had to rely on the healthcare system in the US..and while considering the best possible care for my CKF I've look into the care in other countries as well as spoken to other having dialysis done in these countries..the only benefit that most speak to is the cost, free

But they complain often because their treatments will get cancelled because of backlogs, or they have to find a way to another center on treatment days because they are not available..this out their life's at risk..so there is a marked difference...

People believe that about the education system for simple reasons...other countries are focused on actual education, our system seems more focus on social and sexual issues..when you have k-12 teacher more concerned about making sure their own gender confusion and sexually is confirmed over everything else. That's the issue..now that doesn't include all teachers, but the perception due to MSM and social media is that is what is happening..and that reliance on the Internet to teach nowadays his harming our kids and the latest generation is the first in history to drop on IQ..so our education system making kids less intelligent.
