Trump's new Cabinet - Guesses & Nominations

This is a topic I have been contemplating for a while myself. I wish there was room on the board to discuss it.
And I actually find it much easier to be politics proof than trump proof. trumpism goes so much deeper than mere politics.
Politics I can live with....it sucks. it has always sucked, and it will forever suck......but it's a necessary evil.

It's the slimy underbelly of trumpism that is repugnant and potentially damaging to my kids' future quality of life.

Is there not a Trump loyalist that is actually qualified for the position? Is Gaetz really the best Trump can do?

As someone else who was also abused by DoJ, Gaetz seems one of the most qualified and he will be surrounded by plenty of other well qualified loyalists like Mike Davis and Mark Paoletta.

Hopefully, justice is coming.

Everyone else said no because they know that at some point, probably sooner than later, they will have to choose between unquestioned fealty to Trump and acting rationally and constitutionally and being excoriated by him.

Septic is really sneaky. Even Slice and the Jews are like "watch out for him, he's sneaky"

Wat.

Just like clockwork, the corrupt democrat party and media will make every single Trump nominations a sexual criminal, white supremacist, or both.

Unsurprisingly, I am on the corresponding but opposite side of your continuum.

I don't understand the bitching about cabinet picks. Trump wasn't given a mandate to continue business as usual. He was given a mandate to gut the agencies, kick out the bad actors, and revolutionize how they operate. At the very, very worst these people give us total gridlock and dysfunction in their agencies, which is also fine by me (and by many, I assume).

American political bureaucracy needs the crud kicked out of it and it looks like that is what's happening. Comparing his picks to who "should" be there is mostly just idiotically looking at things through the same ugly s***stained glass we've always looked through.

The good thing is, most people now know their game and ignore them. The best thing most Americans can do is just ignore them going forward. They are screeching demons who no longer have power.

gridlock and dysfunction is nowhere near the very, very worst thing that can happen.....

Don't get me wrong. I'm enjoying life and will continue to do so. I'm insulated. My kids are all very successful and relatively trump proof.
It's simply that trump and trumpism has made the US a darker and uglier place in which to live. And that can't help but make one a little sad..

My god. I’ll agree that you are insulated and probably always have been which is why you are so weak.

So because he has had legal issues, that makes him qualified to be the nation's top cop and prosecutor?

What are the qualifications needed? BS and JD degrees from an Ivy League school? Work experience serving in a past administration? Work experience on K Street?
I would argue it depends on the goal. If the goal is to gut the DOJ of lawfaring, bureaucratic idiots, I think the qualifications are different.
