I haven't known any former heroin addicts as far as I'm aware. I have known addicts of other vices. In my experience, some of those reformed addicts become zealots for all things counter to the demons they themselves surmounted.People who also might not like the choice of RFK Jr. :
1) People who believe that vaccines can help protect their children from acquiring serious diseases, and don't believe that vaccines cause autism.
2) People who don't believe that the United States should have a convicted felon, and former heroin addict running HHS.
Try applying for employment in a government agency as a convicted felon, and see what happens. So, why should a convicted felon be trusted to run a government agency? How about convicted felons? One just got a job, actually the biggest job.
Funny you say this, I've known people addicted to serious drugs which were later able to get TS-SCI clearances.
That is not even my biggest problem with him, anyway.I haven't known any former heroin addicts as far as I'm aware. I have known addicts of other vices. In my experience, some of those reformed addicts become zealots for all things counter to the demons they themselves surmounted.

Many Americans believe that RFK Jr. is wrong in his stated belief that vaccines cause autism. It is reasonable for those people to be concerned with this choice. A majority of Americans believe that vaccines are integral in protecting their children against infectious disease.
I swear we could see a scroll across Twitter that “ @luthervol has been nominated to head ATF”
And some of you would blindly bleat - Trump hits another one out of the park!!!
I don't know why one is allowed and the other isn't. But unless those rules currently exist or will be changed, the non-nonsensical nature of it matters very little in the big picture.Try applying for employment in a government agency as a convicted felon, and see what happens. Admittedly, I'm not one who gets amped about stuff like this. I feel like once a person pays their debt to society, then there shouldn't be anything lingering to limit their rights in the future.
What i have found wrt his opinion on vaccines is:That is not even my biggest problem with him, anyway.

That's not even my biggest point, anyway. A lot of people believe that RFK Jr. is wrong when he says that vaccines cause autism. It is reasonable for those people to be concerned with his nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
