Trump's new Cabinet - Guesses & Nominations

I reckon I got a little lucky with my one 22 yo son. He's always been fit. We've never been an obese family. And never been "overweight" as we would be discussing here. Being 5'8", I can get pudgy and at 220 Im at my all-time high pushing 60th birthday. So, in comaprison to typical America, I look way better than many, many men half my age. My kid played football and and baseball is school. He eats well, and continues to work out post sports and has dropped his playing weight from 195 to 180ish, and could be in the Fireman's Calendar. Rarely will step foot in a doctor's office even if he needs to. No pandemic jabs, though he did have his required shots as a child. Cooks a good bit of his "workout" food. We eat realtively healty. Cook with fresh food as much as possible, and put up as much as the garden allows. I've swiched off to Jasmine rice only for the white rice, and imported italian pasta to get away from the "enriched" rice and pasta. Mine has done his share of gaming as well, but I never really had to regulate it, as he did sports, fished, golfed, etc. on his own and regularly.

It's not hard to healthy up, and it doesn't mean everyone has to be at Planet Fitness pinching yoga pants. Subtle diet changes can be huge. It's amazing what cutting out sodas for water will do. I carry a Yeti tumbler of ice water to work almost daily. And cooking solid meats and fresh veggie sautees. THe bloating and the desire for snacks disappear in less than two weeks easy.
Oh my boys are both in incredible shape but if we didn't keep them active they would likely be candidates for medication. The older one just needs to get physically worn out so he swims 2hrs every day with 3 mornings of weight training. The younger needs to get aggression out so he does bjj 4 days a week. They would both eat terribly if we allowed it. So we have no free time but ours boys grow up healthy without the need of meds. It's a choice but they're worth it.

In the end what costs us more - a country full of fat and lazy or a govt that will call out period for their bad choices? They should also remove as many as they can

Have a grandchild with celiac and a DIL with a gluten allergy so we have to modify our food offerings when they visit. DIL develops a rash from American wheat products but can eat imported European made pastas without symptoms? For her, it would seem either the American GMO wheat or the use of roundup on wheat pre harvest may be the source of her issue as both those are banned in Europe?
Then she does not have gluten allergies at natural levels. American grain and white rice prodcts are enriched. Sprayed with "nutritional" chemicals. Normally around 5ish. Folic being one of them. America wheat is also mega hybridized and the gluten is higher than in Euro wheats. Einkorn is one of a very, very few wheats that has never been hybridized. Might be the only. Mass market Euro grains are still lower in gluten than American super grains.

Try italian import pasta such as Rao's or 'bettergoods' brand (which is cheaper than Rao's). And use Jasmine rice. It's the only white rice on american shelves that is not enriched.

Also search reads on enriched vs. non-enriched grains and rices. Good Info. Could be your DIL is only allergic to american grain gluten because of the higher %, or she has reaction to the "enriched" chemicals sprayed on the grains.

Switching off store breads to home concocted sourdough will also help her. The sourdough process breaks down the gluten a bit, and many people that cannot eat regular breads can tolerate sourdough. But, not bread shelf sourdough. It has all the additives. Real bakery sourdough would be fine.

Pretty sure our resident docs in here would/could confirm physical activities reduce the need need for medications. I'd wager a large portion of youth on mental meds are fairly sedentary and stare at harmful screens all day. Exceptions pre-noted. My parents were quite the same. Church, school studies, chores, activities, tv. You made proper parenting choices, and you didnt take the easy road. But, real parenting is never the easy road. He wasn't my bff. Now...been taking care of himself most his life. Takes care of his own college expenses. Makes good decisions. Never been in trouble. A bit hard headed, but I'll accpet it given the rest. Quite independent as I still don't know his college GPA. I'm not paying so it's not my concern. lol. He's not a conversationalist, so we can't pry too much w/o ramifications. lol. All I have to do is be proud, act like I did a good job, and don't embarass him.

Sure, but if you actually took trump out of the equation, Biden would have never have felt it necessary.
Let's leave Trump in the equation and other things out of the equation where it wouldn't have been necessary:
1. Illegal and corrupt activities.
2. Unethical political witch hunting of Trump for 6 years.

But any President could say the same thus the reason I said take Trump out of it. Trump could do the same in 4 years if he didn't agree with the next Admin. My question was more about how can any of a future President's allies be investigated if the President can just say it's political and pardon them ahead of time without a hearing or even charges? You went back to Trump but this applies to any future President.

Then sure, Biden has set a poor precedent moving forward.
Trump publicly and continually threatening revenge against his opponents was an even worse precedent.

I said in 2016 when it became apparent that America was about to do the unthinkable that trump should never be normalized. The country will suffer from the normalization of trump for decades.
