I'm aware when I posted this there are posters who don't like her & think she crazy.Of all the republicans in Congress, she is at the bottom of my credibility scale. Hard to fathom how some of the folks in Washington get elected.
I didn’t challenge her right to have an opinion. Everyone has opinions from the genius down to the special needs folks. We all have to vet whose opinions as likely correct vs likely misinformed. To me, she falls into MY group of folks to whom I don’t listen. I’m not calling for her impeachment or censorship.I'm aware when I posted this there are posters who don't like her & think she crazy.
But she still has a voice & a seat in Congress & has a right to her opinion as Schiff.
Didn't mean to imply that. My apologies if I did. I know there are some who don'tI didn’t challenge here right to have an opinion. Neither am I trying to censor you on this forum. You posted her comment for all to read and I posted my lack of faith in her opinion for all to read. It’s really that simple. Your entitled to think she’s brilliant or ignorant and I fully support your right to that opinion although I might question you on why you formulated that opinion since this is a message board.Didn't mean to imply that. like her ways for whatever reasons they may have. I still might post some of the things she has to say about things. Just scroll on by if you need to.
As I asked in previous threads when this came up, the bigger question is what now prevents any future President from blanket pardoning any of his allies and using the same reasoning as Biden? This is political and they don't deserve to be investigated. Taking Trump out of this, it seems like the Biden new use of pardons give the President absolute authority to preemptively prevent any investigations and subsequent punishments against his allies.Because trump is very childish and vindictive.
I reckon I got a little lucky with my one 22 yo son. He's always been fit. We've never been an obese family. And never been "overweight" as we would be discussing here. Being 5'8", I can get pudgy and at 220 Im at my all-time high pushing 60th birthday. So, in comaprison to typical America, I look way better than many, many men half my age. My kid played football and and baseball is school. He eats well, and continues to work out post sports and has dropped his playing weight from 195 to 180ish, and could be in the Fireman's Calendar. Rarely will step foot in a doctor's office even if he needs to. No pandemic jabs, though he did have his required shots as a child. Cooks a good bit of his "workout" food. We eat realtively healty. Cook with fresh food as much as possible, and put up as much as the garden allows. I've swiched off to Jasmine rice only for the white rice, and imported italian pasta to get away from the "enriched" rice and pasta. Mine has done his share of gaming as well, but I never really had to regulate it, as he did sports, fished, golfed, etc. on his own and regularly.I have 13 and 11yo boys so I see and fight this on a daily basis. We keep them off the common drugs with exercise and activities. Sure they play video games but they earn it through hours of hard work. When they take too much time off you can see the changes and it's not fun. We do boy scouts, bjj, track/cc, swimming, flag football, basketball, etc and still eat at home almost every night. You know how many fat kids are winning races in swimming? I go to pick up my oldest at high school and there are more fat kids in his class than I ever saw in my whole HS. My son almost looks out of place (he's in incredible shape and the only 7th grader in his class to already earn a HS varsity letter)
I've looked into RFK Jr a lot and don't agree with everything he says. However I do agree that this country had been captured by Big <insert industry> and that created a massive health crisis that is completely unsustainable. You're right, many need to hear the harsh truth about their health. Feelings simply don't trump biology and science. I'm ok with the pendulum swinging widely the other for a moment
Sure, but if you actually took trump out of the equation, Biden would have never have felt it necessary. As I asked in previous threads when this came up, the bigger question is what now prevents any future President from blanket pardoning any of his allies and using the same reasoning as Biden?
