Does anyone believe that Biden's tax returns show the illicit money that his son gave him on his tax returns? After all, the "big guy" didn't really earn the money, so he shouldn't have to pay taxes on it right?
The law says that the Treasury Secretary “shall furnish” the records requested by the House Ways and Means Committee, the Senate Committee on Finance and the Joint Committee on Taxation. Now the law has been tested and affirmed by the SC. There is no restriction on the person or particular type of return. They just have to "want it". Standby for the Republican Ways and Means to request all kinds of returns from a variety democrats and related parties. Congrats.
You still don't get it. Frumpy is the ONLY one who's tax records were not available to the public, as an elected public official. Everyone elses has been publicly available for decades.
I’m troubled by politicians like Pelosi doing insider trading. Than I am billionaires paying taxes with loopholes made by politicians doing the insider trading. The standard is not legality. It's whether average folks voting based on inflation, but who paid $5k in taxes last year, will be bothered by the Billionaire paying nothing.

Visa scandal was well before Trump the candidate. The fact she milked almost 20 more years shows the left doesn't really care about the taxes.See you just misunderstand the term , it’s only called insider trading for anyone not in congress . If you are in Congress , it’s just called being financially savvy .
Good way to attack political rivals and it will be used regularly now.
Exactly, but I suspect they will change the law so they will not be subjected to the same rules. As it currently stands, the Ways and Means can have any return no matter the intent. Nancy Peolosi's statement on the matter after the ruling: "Now, the Congress must enact legislation requiring presidents and candidates for president to disclose their tax returns." Notice she doesnt say anyone or any return as it is now. Why come up with legislation if they already have the power? Because, after they get Trumps, they will limit the power to just presidents.
I don’t see how her proposed legislation would be constitutional.
You know his returns will be leaked, think there will be an investigation and prosecution?
Leak? It is illegal to release tax returns, but I expect they will have a half-ass vote to release some sort of public summary. A summary of info they choose, by the way.
