Trump's Taxes

98.5% did keep their doctor. So it was largely a true statement.
Trump's promise was 100% a lie.
Big difference.
Negative ghost rider.

Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance

From the article:

Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”

There was nothing other than Trump's own conspiracy theories to indicate that Obama hadn't been born in Hawaii, as he had said. Once again, I guess transparency is only important to Trump when it involves other people, right?

And what about that press conference Trump was going to hold? You know, the one where Trump was going to reveal what his private investigators had uncovered in Hawaii about Barack Obama's place of birth? Trump said that it would be coming "in two weeks", but curiously, it never came about. I wonder why? He wasn't full of crap, was he? Certainly not.

Birtherism didn't begin or end with Trump abandoning it, and traces its roots to 2004 Illinois politics.

Again, it's a non-issue regarding your argument of 'transparency'; the constitution requires natural born citizenry, not showing you someone's tax filings.

Donald Trump was much more aggressive with it than anyone else, and he was using his high profile to promote it, and he was also blatantly lying that he could prove his theory that Obama had not been born in the United States. Donald Trump did in fact claim that he had hired private investigators to research Barack Obama's place of birth (which is crazy if he actually did do that, or sociopathic if he just made it up). Trump said that he would be holding a press conference to reveal what his private investigators had uncovered in Hawaii about Barack Obama's place of birth... and Trump further teased that these investigators "can't believe what they're finding". There was never any such press conference held. I wonder why?

So earlier on me you scream whataboutism and here you’re playing whataboutism on an item that has a legal basis (natural born citizen) vs none whatsoever (taxes and he promised!) LMAO!

Trump offered up $5,000,000 for proof of Barry's legit college admission records. When did he have to write that check?
In February of 1990, Barack Obama was elected to head Harvard's Law Review. This is easily verified. As a matter of fact, The New York Times ran an article on February 6, 1990 with a headline which read, "First Black Elected to Head Harvard's Law Review" by Fox Butterfield, Special to The New York Times. Alas, this article was about Barack Obama.

Since he was the head of Harvard's Law Review, it can be safely assumed that Barack Obama, was in fact, admitted to Harvard's College of Law.

And "I wonder why?" you keep trying to change the subject, which is your equivocating a constitutional requirement with your simply wanting his tax info. Two different things.

Now that we have that settled; I know Trump conducted his own investigative effort but I don't see where he ever stated Obama was not natural born. He certainly questioned it and said Obama should prove it, but I don't recall him stating he conclusively wasn't. Can you chase that down for us?

In all fairness, that check was never going to be written no matter what the evidence said. I feel the same way about that as I do Trumps taxes.

No, only the "why" matters.
I'll gladly add "why" in with "how often" and "what type".
At least you're getting that there is always a continuum.
Your continuum is based on "why".
Mine is a tad more encompassing.

Is it really a "constitutional requirement" to present a birth certificate? Did Trump ever present his?

What??????????
We were talking doctors, not policies.
Try again.

No, there is no continuum when it comes to lying. You either accept that a politician lies or you don't.

The ONLY thing that can be reasonably considered on an individual case by case basis is the "why" behind the lie.

... and Trump's investigative team "can't believe what they're finding" in Hawaii. 9 years later, and we are still waiting for that press conference.

You can't assume that everyone can put 2 and 2 together.

I admire your willingness to die on that molehill.
Everybody lies, not just politicians.
Everybody accepts that fact.........if they actually stop and think.
It all boils down to "how often", "what types", and "why" ---- i.e. - continuums.

If there's a serious legal question regarding your birthplace, of course you must present proof that you are constitutionally eligible to be president. That some or even a lot of people may think there's a legal question, doesn't make it so.

Same for the false equivalency of demanding someone's tax returns.

We should require candidates submit birth certificates when announcing candidacy. Unless the constitution is amended, we might like to have their tax returns, but we've no basis to demand it.

why is it despicable to use legal means to not pay FEDERAL TAXES. i bet he paid a crap load of city, county and state taxes. i applaud him for not wasting money to the fed gov god.

He should be applauded for using loop holes. Every wealthy American does it. If its legal, let him do. I promise you LG and evil use every tax loophole to save money.

Why does Donald hate the military?

Maybe if Donald didn't loath America's sons and daughters, the tax's he shirked would have gone to providing adequate security to Americas global assets.

I just can't see how any reasonable, rational person could argue that in a direct way - he wasn't responsible for Benghazi.
Lol. Comedy from a fool

And what was the serious legal question regarding Obama's place of birth? Was it that he is black, or just his African name? Trump was very persistent in 2011 that Obama should show his birth certificate. He even went so far as to claim that he had proof that Obama was not born in the United States and said that he would be displaying this proof in a press conference... in two weeks.
