Obamacare was designed to fail, the socialists wanted it to failNegative ghost rider.
Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance
From the article:
Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”
And what was the serious legal question regarding Obama's place of birth? Was it that he is black, or just his African name? Trump was very persistent in 2011 that Obama should show his birth certificate. He even went so far as to claim that he had proof that Obama was not born in the United States and said that he would be displaying this proof in a press conference... in two weeks.
You and I both know he was just trying to create doubt. The information is likely stored with Adams Schiff's direct evidence of collusion that he saw.... and Trump's investigative team "can't believe what they're finding" in Hawaii. 9 years later, and we are still waiting for that press conference.
There’s the goto race card play! Well done BB well done! And what was the serious legal question regarding Obama's place of birth? Was it that he is black, or just his African name? Trump said that his investigators had uncovered proof that Barack Obama wasn't born in the United States. Trump said that he would be displaying this proof in a press conference. As far as I can tell, that was the last thing he has ever said about this... there never was any such admission that he had been lying about his proof (and what else would you call it, except "lying"?).Apparently, you cannot construct enough straw men to satisfy yourself.
I didn't say there was a serious legal question re: Obama, did I? In fact, I plainly stated that even if some or a lot of people think there was, it doesn't make it so, didn't I?
FFS, man, READ. Even Trump has rejected it years ago. You're the only one waiting on a conference.
Lastly (and again); I don't recall Trump stating he had proof or even stating Obama wasn't U.S. born and asked you to link the proof of your claim. I don't know that he did or didn't, but you certainly haven''t proven your claim is any more than conjecture.
In February of 1990, Barack Obama was elected to head Harvard's Law Review. This is easily verified. As a matter of fact, The New York Times ran an article on February 6, 1990 with a headline which read, "First Black Elected to Head Harvard's Law Review" by Fox Butterfield, Special to The New York Times. Alas, this article was about Barack Obama.
Since he was the head of Harvard's Law Review, it can be safely assumed that Barack Obama, was in fact, admitted to Harvard's College of Law.
You be you and double down on the race card. That’s the lib goto play after all. That’s irrelevant to the pertinent information on the birth certificate which is place of birth and determines whether a person meets the criteria for the office of President or not.If you don't think there was a racial component to "birther-ism", then you are naive.

And this would be an absurd assumption because we all know that Trump is full of $hit... and as for whether or not "he was qualified to be admitted"? That is rich. Do one on whether or not Trump was "qualified to be admitted" to Penn, or how about if Jared Kushner was "qualified to be admitted" to Harvard and then get back to me.... I won't hold my breath, especially on Kushner - we know how he got into Harvard.Whether he was admitted to Harvard or not wasn't what was questioned. What was questioned was whether or not he was qualified to be admitted and obtain financial aid. I don't think that he ever produced his undergraduate transcripts or documentation that he claimed US or foreign citizenship when applying for financial aid. Did the NYT, WaPo, or the other leftist media outlets ever investigate the potential fraud or check to see if he claimed non-US status on his various applications or whether or not they were ever released? I'll assume that they were never released because we'd never see the end of the MSM hounding Trump on when he was going to stroke the $5,000,000 check. But they seem to have let the potential irregularities surrounding his Harvard admission go.
I don't play the hair splitting games that you do. Trump's claim was that the investigators he had hired to research Barack Obama's place of birth had turned up information in Hawaii and that "they can't believe what they're finding". With that statement, Trump was more than implying that the investigators he had employed had uncovered proof that Obama wasn't born in the United States. Trump didn't stop there, however. He also said that, "So, we're going to be having a little press conference in a few weeks (where he would then disclose this alleged proof)". Of course, he never did. Trump's inference was crystal clear to anyone with any sense. He was saying that he had proof that Obama wasn't born in the U.S. and that he would be revealing this proof in a press conference (that never took place).Google turns up no substantiation of that claim.
That Trump doubted Obama was born here? Sure.
That he stated Obama wasn't or had proof he wasn't? Doesn't appear so.

There was no mistaking what Trump was talking about, when he said that his investigators "can't believe what they're finding" in Hawaii. He was saying that they had uncovered proof in support of his "birther-ism" theory. He also said that he would be holding a press conference immediately after this... the only point of such a press conference, would have been to reveal this alleged proof. The context was clear... and so was Trump's inference. He was just lying about it.You have a bad habit of making outlandish claims then pretending context doesn't matter, and that the rebutting argument is "splitting hairs".
You're an adult. Make arguments within context the rule, not the exception, and you'll be on the defensive less often.
Where are all the good right wing investigative journalists? Are they just incompetent?Whether he was admitted to Harvard or not wasn't what was questioned. What was questioned was whether or not he was qualified to be admitted and obtain financial aid. I don't think that he ever produced his undergraduate transcripts or documentation that he claimed US or foreign citizenship when applying for financial aid. I think Obama was born in a laboratory somewhere. You can tell by the way he stammers and halts in his speech that wires are shorting out. There was no mistaking what Trump was talking about, when he said that his investigators "can't believe what they're finding" in Hawaii.
