Trump's Taxes

Ok so please elaborate. Everybody knows the rich people have always exploited the law to their favor. That includes Trump, Clinton and every other person who has a net worth over $1 million.

Do you honestly think Trump or Clintons personal tax returns are important? If so, why? Is it really going to tell us anytjing we dont already suspect or know? Honestly, on a scale of 1-10 where 10 is the most important and 1 is the least, where does candidates personal tax returns rate?

Bump yet again for some clarification

I've been listening to the U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments. Justice Breyer, a Clinton appointee, used the word HARASSMENT several times in his questions to the crooked lawyer trying to get the President's financial records.

If a Chinese bank gave a president $10 million, would you consider that to be important for the public to know about?
If the $10M is reported properly on his tax forms as some form of income isn’t it already audited?

If it isn’t reported on his tax forms that’s fraud and the tax forms wouldn’t help anyway.

And what you are proposing is still politically driven over reach. We already have the IRS we don’t need the opposing political party arm chair quarterbacking them FFS.

Is that a real tweet from Trump? If so, he is really melting down right before our eyes. Basically accusing someone of murder! No wonder he is a laughingstock and a punchline domestically and internationally. He knows he completely botched the Covid-19 response and the economy is in the toilet so he resorts to more petty and infantile behavior. He is truly a spineless coward.

Trump fires back after tax revelations

He used a legal means to escape taxes, but it's still despicable imo. But is it as despicable as the things Hillary has done? I don't think so. HRC supporters can try and trumpet her as innocent, but she hindered prosecution and put the nation's secrets at risk. I'm not even mentioning some of the more questionable things she's accused of, just what is known to be true.

I don't like Trump. I really wish we had a third, viable option. But between Trump and HRC, I still see Trump as the lesser of two evils.
His taxes being lowered saved our country, and our economy.

Maybe . . . but that has absolutely nothing to do with a tax return.
Structure the hypothetical however you want. The principle is "does the public have a legitimate interest in knowing the president's income?"

IMO Sekulow is going too far asking for temporary Presidential immunity. It reflects an arrogance of power. I don't see the Court going for that and indeed it may give one or two GOP appointees an excuse to side the other way.

But, as I learned long ago, you cannot always assume from oral argument questions that you are seeing the judges' real opinions in them.

Not the testimony that came from the Senate today. Outside of Warren Sanders and Tim Kaine I think it was a very good hearing. Lamar Alexander did a good job chairing this
