lol.........He had every opportunity to make a statement. I guarantee you 99% of that mob followed Trump on twitter. He was encouraged by family, friends, and top-ranking republicans to denounce what was happening and he refused for hours.

Melania Trump announces ‘exclusive communication’ deal with Parler in snub to her own husband’s social network

Former first lady Melania Trump will use Parler, a platform popular with the right wing in the US, exclusively for her social media communications.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company announced that it had entered into a “special arrangement” for Ms Trump’s social media communications.

“I am excited and inspired by free speech platforms that give direct communication to people worldwide,” Ms Trump was quoted as saying by the company’s press statement.


“Parler has been on the forefront of utilising Web3 technology and empowers its users to foster productive discourse.”

“As part of the synergistic relationship, Mrs Trump will share exclusive communications on Parler,” the statement said.

Instead, Trump waited nearly 3 HOURS before issuing a public statement telling them to go home. Later on the 6th, Trump even justified his mob's action by Tweeting, "These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long,” he wrote. “Go home with love & in peace. And WTF are you talking about when you say Trump "allegedly didn't have any contact with the protestors". Have you forgotten the rally that Trump told everyone to come to in advance, "Be there. Will be wild!".

During Trump's 70-minute lie-ridden speech at the Mall, he said:

'We won this election, and we won it by a landslide'

Is that true, dude? Again, just a big lie on every level to incite his mob whose dumb enough to believe him.

'We will stop the steal'

Was the election stolen? Again, big lie. Every court decision including those by TRUMP-APPOINTED JUDGES ruled the election wasn't stolen.

"You don't concede when there's theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore."

More lies. There was no theft. Dumb mobsters: More riled and angry.

'If you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore'

Sounds like a direct incitement of violence to a mob he's fomented.

Encouraged the mob to go to the Capitol. Another lie saying "we", of course, as Trump didn't go with them.

My girlfriend and other friends of mine who actually voted for Trump in '20 point to January 6th and say that - because of this event - they simply cannot and will not ever support Trump politically again, regardless of whether they approved of his term or agree with him philosophically.

Trump lost the election. Plain and simple. He then showed his ass to the world by never conceding, creating the Big Lie, and inciting a mob of his supporters to attack the Capitol.

He cannot and shall not EVER hold a public office again. Period.

I never supported Trump. He never should have held office to start, I am fine with him staying out.

Doesnt mean he is complicit in anything.

And you know the Capitol Police is it's own separate force right? Not answerable to the president at all? And yet while you believe a coup was going on you argue that Trump should have ordered troops in to do his will? That's another huge leap of logic.

A statement. Addressed to a mob. While they were actively "couping". While he was underground and not within speaking distance. I am sure all the "coupists" were glued to their twitter waiting in Trumps next order.

Yeah......that would have worked.

I love that in the three hours, a whole three hours, these people undertaking a coup, did nothing what so ever that would have resulted in an actual coup. They didnt even stage a vote in the Hall with the looted lectern. Didnt trot out their lord and savior. Didnt announce or call for a new vote. And the worst of what they did was some light destruction of government property which took less than a day to fix.

If that's what it takes to overthrow this nation we are doomed beyond belief.

It took Pence (of all people) to stop it. There were nuts from multiple states hidden away all around DC, under armed security, filling out fake electoral ballots - ready to step in and complete the coup.

I'm still flabbergasted that so many people can forgive, or even support, what Trump attempted to do.

They had three hours, what else were they waiting on? Since they were all ready to go with armed guards. None of whom were on site. Or in direct communication with Trump.

Sounds like Trump doing nothing prevented a coup, instead of causing it. You should be grateful.
