Or how about you actually just stick with the politicians you can tolerate their filth. You may be fine with DJT filth, that's fine, other people arent ok with it, that's fine too.

But sitting here and complaining about the Dems filth while accepting some other equal filth doesnt make sense. Or vise versa, see our interactions with luther. Sure there is always going to be some filth but you cant/shouldnt minimize or justify the filth you support based on the presence of other filth. Establish was is acceptable, and what isnt and stick to it. Both parties like to call the other a hypocrite but never want to address their own.

I've mentioned Candace Owens and Ron Desantis as two that I think would be better options. Even those two still aren't good enough for the Billy Graham, Jack Van Impe reincarnated crowd that exists on here.

What do those two have from their past that people don't like? I don't care if either said something that might have offended me once. Or twice. Overall, they both seem like great options to run in 2024.

Nobody is ever going to match every single box on your checklist. My advice would be to find someone who matches most of them. And so what if they did one thing you didn't like. Republicans were allowed to do it and democrats did it in the past as well. Maybe a person has 20 other issues you agree with them and you go from there. I believe that's a reasonable way to look at it.

And if that doesn't make you happy then the only other option would be for you to run political office.

Here's the bandwagon argument I was waiting for. Weird to see you call yourself a vol fan on a vol website when clearly it should Donjo Bama, or is it Donjo Dawg now? Joe would appreciate the company. At some point you just have to stop supporting the Vols and their 2% chance of winning the SEC and move on to someone like Bama or Georgia.

Same issue with politics. If you are a real fan or a real "insert political identifier here", you are going to stick to your team vs shrugging and deciding it's ok to cheer for Bama because they are the SEC.

You are just buying what the media and parties sell you. You have to support this person or you ain't black. But most people wouldnt really support the person they vote on in an vacuum. For something as important as president I dont see how people can suspend their issues with one candidate just because a worse one exists.

Sorry I missed Owen's and Desantis. I could see Desantis getting a good bit of votes. Depending on the primary I am probably not voting for him with his heavy handed anti mandates.

Owen's doesnt have the credibility or experience to deserve the vote at this time imo. She needs to be put to the test to see how she handles the real world vs being a talking head.

Why on the world would we want anyone with experience? Based on what you and others have said the fact that Owens doesn't have any experience would be a plus. Maybe she would actually "drain the swamp". She should be a perfect fit for at least McDad.

Better yet. Let's just all campaign for Joel Osteen. He's nice, he smiles, looks like he has had expensive dental work done, he says the right things. I'm sure he'll make a lot of conservatives feel good. And I'm not aware of anything from his past. He could even have Elon Musk as his running mate. Both are rich and conservatives already love them. And they've never been politicians. Osteen/Musk 2024. Sounds like a good ticket for you guys.

Okay. If politicians are the lowest form of life then why do you and others keep going on that people must have "experience" and "credibility"? Wouldn't the best option be people without experience and no previous political connections?

Osteen is a perfect example of a politician. Fake as all get out. Pretty picture from the outside, dirty as heck below the skin. He wpuldnt be any different than what we have already dealt with.

Musk would be interesting. Stuff would get done, may not be what I want, but it would get done. I could vote for him.

Owen's would just feed the swamp not drain it. My point on experience was just to see how they actually act when in power. Owen hasnt dealt with that. Some people it corrupts, Osteen. Some people use it to get stuff done, Musk. With the history of DC I would think the virgin power monger gets corrupted.

I mention Osteen because because he will say he right things to make people like you happy. At the end of the day you need to feel good and be able to crawl back into your safe space.

People like Candace Owens is exactly what we need. She's not part of the political swamp and doubt she has as many political connections as the other 2 rich guys I mentioned. Which as much talk and as much as you guys rant and rave about politicians being dirty at the end of the day you still want a politician.

I said musk was going to do stuff j didnt like. Not sure how you extrapolated that to infer I thought he isnt corrupt. I have publically stated on this forum I think he is a Bond villian.

As I pointed out Osteen is exactly what we have now, so no I would not be happy. I put him squarely in the Trump camp. Nice talk, put on a show, lie through his teeth and be completely over his head, just like he is with his "moneystry"

Owens would be OAC. Pretty face, talk a good game, "innocent" of the corruption, but behind the scenes moving into a nice apartment and lining her wallet while building her benefactor list.
