I would prefer someone with CEO or executive experience in the private sector over someone who’s spent their life on a committee and face it the House and Senate are just committees.

So its suspicious that Trump, who at least alledgely didnt have any contact with the protestors, didnt immediately call up the leader and tell them to stop??? That's a leap of logic.

I would trust Musk to get something done. And figure out a way to profit off of it.

The difference is we would get real change with Musk. Probably not the change any of us want, but change.

If Trump didn't approve of HIS mob sacking the Capitol (READ: He relished it), as President he would have IMMEDIATELY issued a public statement condemning the violent and illegal actions of HIS supporters, and he would have ordered the dispatch of all available law enforcement officers to the Capitol to quell the violent takeover of the Capitol.

Instead, Trump waited nearly 3 HOURS before issuing a public statement telling them to go home. Later on the 6th, Trump even justified his mob's action by Tweeting, "These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long,” he wrote. “Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!”

And WTF are you talking about when you say Trump "allegedly didn't have any contact with the protestors". Have you forgotten the rally that Trump told everyone to come to in advance, "Be there. Will be wild!".

During Trump's 70-minute lie-ridden speech at the Mall, he said:

'We won this election, and we won it by a landslide'

Is that true, dude? Again, just a big lie on every level to incite his mob whose dumb enough to believe him.

'We will stop the steal'

Was the election stolen? Again, big lie. Every court decision including those by TRUMP-APPOINTED JUDGES ruled the election wasn't stolen.

"You don't concede when there's theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore."

My girlfriend and other friends of mine who actually voted for Trump in '20 point to January 6th and say that - because of this event - they simply cannot and will not ever support Trump politically again, regardless of whether they approved of his term or agree with him philosophically.

Trump lost the election. Plain and simple. He then showed his ass to the world by never conceding, creating the Big Lie, and inciting a mob of his supporters to attack the Capitol.

He cannot and shall not EVER hold a public office again. Period.
