TrumPutinGate

I wouldn't characterize the status of the Congressional investigations as "heating up" right now.

Who knows what the FBI is doing.

Well, fair enough.

Hey, I'm hearing chatter about a massive march on Washington on this issue specifically, planned for June potentially.

A more intelligent and less gullible public is what we need. Trump is doing his best to make sure his followers continue to have the inability to distinguish between real and fake news. Can't say that I blame him, astonishingly it's working. He's even tweeting today about the fake news that shows his approval ratings so low. There's a fairly easy litmus test for you Trumpsters: if the news makes Trump look good, it's true; if the news makes Trump look bad, it's fake.....brilliant. SMDH

How is Trump taking away the ability to determine "fake news"? By going after Assange? I thought Wikileaks was fake news when they leaked info on Clinton. That was before Wikileaks was a hero to the left for leaking info about the Bush administration. "Fake" news must be the taking point that is being pushed by the dnc. Intelligent people know that if a politician speaks, he/she is lying. This goes for Trump, Clinton, Obama, Bush, etc. If you believe the pap that a political party puts out, you're part of the gullible public. In other news, water is wet.

Luther was a Bernie guy. Then supported Clinton even after her deceitful collusion perpetuated to sink Bernie came to light.

I would say that makes Luther a party guy.

Who did I support as early as September, 2015, DC?

Do you recall?

Unrelated, I know, but it adds a little bit of mystery to the whole "Volprof, the liberal party hack" narrative that gets peddled here, simply because it's very unpleasant to think about the possibility one may have been duped into voting for a traitor.

Just finished watching Maddow. As her usual self as of late, another knock-it-out-the-park opening segment on Kremlingate. She is throwing right hooks and upercuts that are landing, while the rest of the media still seem to be just now learning how to jab.

Anyhow, tonight she did some deep dumpster diving into the Flynn saga and the Politico article. As it turns out, it's looking more and more likely that Flynn's "Turkish" agent role was merely a way of backdooring for Russian interests. He may not have in fact even been a true Turkish agent; may have just been a Russian one all along.

I told you all a couple of weeks or so (I believe it was) before Flynn got canned that a source I would rate around 90 percent confidence said Flynn had basically committed treason and that he (the source) was basically speechless as to how a career military intelligence man would be stupid enough to do such a thing. Didn't know at the time what exactly he was referring to other than that it involved the Kremlin, but things are making more and more sense now.

I don't recall. Rubio?

No, although that was a nice guess. If I had to go a second-place, it likely would have been him.

It was Kasich though. I knew he never had the charisma, however, so it didn't surprise me he never took off.

Can't happen with liberals in charge of public education. We've had 30-40 years of dumbing down and indoctrination and your surprised we have a gullible public? Hell, there are still people that believe the Democrats are for the middle class families. Talk about gullible.

The single worst educational legislation over the past century was No Child Left Behind. Thanks Bush. Can't blame that on the liberals, it wasn't their baby.

Landing hooks and upper cuts just like her hard hitting Trump tax return segment?

The creation of the federal Department of Education holds the distinction of being the worst educational legislation over the past century. NCLB is up there but not the worst.

I've already explained that one.

And my explanation is far easier to believe than that Maddow is too stupid to realize how releasing tax returns that show nothing would not potentially hurt her career.

She knew exactly what she was doing and who exactly those returns came from and why. She took a gamble, and she won, after a brief backlash. Her ratings are now as high as they've ever been and more people are now attuned to her wonderful work on Donny-Russia, for which her show may well end up winning an award sometime down the line.

The blame game for education goes to all. Stop acting like it's just one party. Your behavior is the same as what got us here.

The fact is that conservatives are to blame for defunding, while liberals are to blame for robbing education of its value (for instance, more about emphasizing student specialness and de-emphasizing study of civics and historical facts). All of this has occurred over the past 4-5 decades.

Looks like the next blow to our education, however, is going to come from today's so-called conservatives who want to continue de-funding and who think privatization is the answer, so that I guess only the wealthy will eventually be educated. I have no clue what these madmen and madwomen are up to.

Sounds like 4 out of 10 Americans have caught on.

That number is only going to continue to grow.

http://thehill.com/homenews/news/33...ump-campaign-helped-russia-meddle-in-election

most telling portion of the article.

The poll also found 72 percent of Hillary Clinton voters believe the Trump campaign assisted Russia in meddling efforts.
Less than half of Americans reported optimism with lawmakers’ investigation into Russian election interference.

10 out of 10 has Trump as their president. Cheers.

Sadly, this is true.

He is an illegitimate president, who came to power through illegitimate means, and we have to deal with that for the time being.

But, eventually he will be sent packing. Yes, he'll probably avoid prison, even though that should be his fate, as the optics of a president in prison are probably just too bad even for those who know the truth. But he will most assuredly be sent packing and will live the rest of his pathetic life in disgrace.

Geez, you guys are getting desperate. With each passing day it gets worse for your Kremlin interference campaign.

I'll be honest though, I have to admire you guys' resilience, with hardly any positive stories in your favor, especially since we now know "Obamagate" was a fake scandal cooked up by the WH with Nunes. That, by the way, was clear to anyone with half a brain and modicum of understanding about Donny's character at the time.

I would have thought the majority of you would have just let things be at this thread, but I think now you may realize that you've dug too deep a ditch and that the only option now, as per human nature, is to just keep digging just in the case that you happen to end up being right, which is looking less and less likely by the day. Like Donny, you guys can't show any "weakness."

And I'm on record that, even in the unlikely event I end up being proven completely wrong here or that the FBI pursues nothing, I will still think Donny ought to be impeached for gross incompetency.

He and his whole cohort simply act like guilty people, and they ought to be run out on a rail for making all of this worse, wasting tax dollars on the investigation, and creating political chaos in the process, especially if there was nothing ever there.

lol, so he should be fired for being innocent too? you really are building a case where no matter what happens Trump has to go. like I said zero impartiality here.

with that last post its like saying Obama should have resigned because he wasted so much of America's time with the birther nonsense.

At some point you will give up and the few here who haven't caught on to you yet will even realize that you are either very naive or make up a bunch of lies every day.

No, that is absolutely not what I said.

I said he should be ran out on a rail for gross incompetency, for making him and his entire administration look guilty, even if they're completely innocent.

They all act guilty; if you seriously think they do not act that way, you are a fool. They seriously claimed yesterday (look it up) that they never were responsible for Flynn's vetting (their own NSA!) and don't even have any papers on him, for godssakes.

So to confine our conversation, let's take Flynn.

What have I said about Flynn that has proven inaccurate to date?

Yes, the traitor component, which I said well in advance of his firing and before half of you had probably ever even heard of him, is still "unproven." But, other than that, where have I been wrong on him?
