TrumPutinGate

Why go.. He is hated by the Media by a significant degree. Obama was treated like a king by the same people

That's just what happens when you use your self-described "Leninist" friend's Leninist terminology to describe the free press as "the enemy of the people."

Also, when you're under federal investigation for colluding with a hostile foreign power in hijacking our democracy (which you never defend), it's also not a good idea to describe the IC as "Nazis."

Protips from a friend who cares.

You are correct. And I've never tried to say otherwise. It got them the House and Senate (maybe even the White House) by focusing that hatred.

Didn't mean to imply you did. That hatred is directed by the media on both sides and will play out in the next election cycle. Right now there are plenty of Trump supporters and he is giving them exactly what they want. He shaking the tree of Washington and that is enough right now for the continued support.

Basically everyone except FOX crushes him non stop all day and all night..

Who? The network of serial harrassers and racists that is about to lose a lot of money in suits and take a huge ratings dive, especially once the 70-80 year old demographic passes away?

I'm surprised we haven't heard a lot of talk of pardoning Flynn. You just know that is being discussed.

We'll see how it plays out, but from what I'm hearing, we don't need immunity or a pardon for Flynn.

The IC and now the legal community pretty much have all the goods on Team Treason that they need.

As Deep Throat, I believe it was, said in "All the President's Men," "See, the truth is, these aren't very smart guys, and things got out of hand."

He's not shaking it enough for my tastes.

When Donny shakes the Washington tree, another Goldman Sachs banker and another unregistered foreign agent fall out and right into cabinet and White House positions.

He might get my vote in 2020 if he encourages Congress to vote on a Constitutional Amendment for Congressional term limits. That's one thing he promised (though I wasn't holding my breath) during the election.

He does that, he could seriously pick up votes so long as the economy keeps picking up steam.

We will have to agree to disagree. I think Bush got a lot of credit for being a regular guy.

By credit, do you mean he and his administration were painted as evil? I bet I could dig up some gems here on VN.

Nice try at revising history. If only to make the current Republican president look that much worse.

He could get re-elected by job growth and strong economy. Term limits would be a good thing IMO but what are we talking 10 or 20 years limits? I would be fine somewhere between those numbers.

This whole thread is you trying too hard. But you wouldn't know because you have no idea how bat *#*+ crazy you are.

I really think you may need some prescription antipsychotic meds.

So, let's talk shop, shall we.

From just this past week:

1. Lewandowski selling access to Russians comes to light.
2. Donny team stealing classified documents from the WH during the transition comes to light. (That's a felony, by the way.)
3. Comey testifies that he is working with two prosecutors in the Donny-Russia investigation, including in the Eastern District of Virginia (the Rocket Docket). This likely means federal grand juries are in place and that indictments are coming.
4. White House, including Pence, knew the entire time that Flynn was an unregistered agent of Turkey and Russia (although it's looking more and more like Turkey was just a backdoor for more Russian access). Another felony, by the way.

This is just from the past week.

Care to comment, or are you going to just crawl in the fetal like the rest of your treason apologists around here?

12 years total. Two Senate terms or six House terms. Or one Senate and three House. And at least eight years away before being able to run again. Those in Congress would get grandfathered in otherwise they'd never agree to it. Probably wouldn't agree to it anyway. But voting against it just shows the American voters they aren't there for public service, but rather themselves. Not a great secret by any means, but it certainly shows how selfish they are.

Some on here disagree because of the continuity factor, but I really don't care about that. It'll help "drain the swamp" by keeping public service exactly that. If course lobbyists would still get their meat hooks into Congress, but the turnover would help.

Since it's a good day of using French words, the "naivete" is strong with that one.

Kind of like your naivete concerning thinking you are some modern day Paul Revere coming to the aid of Americans by warning them of the Trump invasion?

We actually call that "delusional behavior."

About 12 years would be enough time to leave a mark and either move to another role in public service or get out. The continuity would be created by the one that continue to serve the public.

Could be worse. I could be a treason apologist, who posts in the fetal.

Good to see you took me off "Ignore" too. Maybe now you can get some education instead of putting your head in the sand constantly.

No, you're still on ignore. Though I honestly admit to taking a peek at your posts from time to time (when others don't quote them of course) to reinforce my decision to keep you on the ignore list.
