Didn't mean to quote you. Guy about three posts above
One positive about Duncan is that he isn't to quick to go to war. I had discussions with a friend in Atlanta before the Iraq invasion, and said that "they" must have intelligence that they aren't telling us because I see no reason to invade Iraq. He agreed, and said "that sh!thole isn't worth sacrificing the life of one scumbag in Atlanta."

Agreed, but to be completely honest, he's never here to argue his points. He's in Knoxville 75% of the time we're in session. That whole thing was before I was up here and none of the "vets" can give a logical reason why we did it

You wouldn prefer Duncan over Corker?

That's like saying you'd prefer a tree root over a river rock

Duncan is a fantastic person and a great politician. I'm meet him through my work with the libertain party. He's truly one of the best in congress. Giving him a greater say by making him a senator, would be a great thing.

Pretty sure they were in session (he should have been here) when you met him. No doubt he's a good man, but he's up here collecting a check.

He seems content to stay in the House. He always wins reelection by over 80% of the vote. I don't think he would want the challenge of a senate race (where he might actually have to debate - which I don't think he has ever done. Not once.)

There is a different standard at play. Hillary was innocent until proven guilty (even after she was proven guilty). Trump is guilty until proven innocent ( even after he's proven innocent).

He brought 100% of that on himself by intentionally running such a derisive campaign. His supporters loved the fact that he was ticking off so many people and burning so many bridges, they just didn't have the foresight to see what that would mean on down the road. He deserves every bit of crap that can be thrown at him.

He must be on to something then.
